Garrett please get a cage in that thing. I was a cop for 23 years and I have seen up close and personal what happens to Corvettes when they crash at high speed. I don’t want you torn into pieces. Love the channel. Just worries me that you young guys think nothing will happen. I have crashed race cars in the past and I would not be here if it were not for a high quality cage.

"Ruby" the red Corvette is the only one without a cage at the moment I believe. Leroy, The Dale Truck, and the V all have roll cages. Cleetus has already talked about putting one in Ruby also.

Damn... really underestimated a 4.8... I was a little bummed out that my truck came with a 4.8 confirmed. So I been building it from top end putting a LSR cam dual springs. Then, To bottom end couldn’t find the stock rod length 6.275 because nobody makes them off the shelf. Custom was gonna kill my pockets... so I decided to keep stock rods an just change the piston heads and some race rings. I’m a little scared for dyno day but this calms my nerves ! Thank you guys for doing a 4.8 project !

good luck guys hope she go's an 8. if she starves for oil again you might need to put the turbo drain in to the pan to try and stop it from keeping a bunch of oil up top. mine is the same way into the valve cover and i plain on changing it out already
