Months out at a time your a madman, I go home weekly. 3,200 miles a week rain or shine, currently sitting in Montana waiting for the roads to open back up. Hopefully this will be the last trip that requires throwing iron for a few months at least

Brah the pad isn’t for just him. I live 5 min from the strip and it’s not like that pal. Is it largely for him, probably but not totally. Track has been under renovations inside and out since it closed last winter for the season.

It’s the future and allows the tracks to have new life keeps folks interested.

@Trevor Lahey Even if it isn't just for Cleetus, I am sure he had a decent influence on it. It shows that with proper utilization you can expand the events you host and therefore make more money. Similar to how arenas are built so that multiple types of events (hockey, basketball, concerts etc.) can be held. They might use that pad for other local stuff too.

I think he is a really nice guy/boss and entertainer. motorsports were slowly dying off same as most major sports. Dude has done more for motorsports and the car community in general than just about anyone else i could think of as far as the "community" side of things goes. i already cant believe how much he has blown up and the moves he has been making, but it looks like he is heading towards growing this whole Cleetus brand of entertainment thing much larger than i thought would ever happen. I thought he was crazy for quitting law school a few years ago and very impressed and happy for him just how much the gamble payed off. dude has earned everything hes got.

Dang now I really want to go, I’m from NC and I was worried to make the trip and all the guys be so busy that they have no time to meet and speak. Guess when there’s enough cool guys around you’re bound to run into a couple of them. Maybe I’ll go next time

@@brink666 He is talking about Toast not Killa Bee Cleetus and crew were having trouble getting Toast to run properly and the Australians got it running good still too much air coming in at idle to get it to idle properly but Cleetus needs a different blower hat for it

There's definitely growing pains, but I think they'll get it sorted. Not having lap counter or position graphics made it a bit hard to watch, but once they brought them back up it was better. Now if they could get some better coordination between the camera operators/switchers and the announcers, I think it'd be absolutely amazing.

Like theres an expectation of quality when you pay for something. doing somehting in house is cheaper, but theyll eventually iron everything out. Like otheres have said, theres growing pains but more control over their show is always better and it gives them some videography skills

That is actually legit and logical.

Never crossed my mind, that would be genius for some of the small burn out pits.

Still requires an experienced driver who can put the car on the exact line they want, predict what the car will do, and can adapt and change. More than once you can see Cleetus bail himself out on that run because the smoke is blinding, but he knows that car so well and what it can do.
