@@ojscustoms9251 I didn’t really like the whole splashing drama stuff either. It’s an actual law here in Tennessee because the stream that comes out the back of jet skis and jet boats like these is strong enough to nearly peel your skin off if you’re close enough. Super dangerous to get blasted in the face/eyes by that. Also as a Tennessee resident that does outdoors related things like himself I knew when I was like 13 that you HAD to pass your boaters safety to operate anything over 8hp if you were born after 1989. I do however think it would’ve been much more appropriate if TWRA would have explained that to him while they were there, given him a warning and told him to leave and get his boaters safety before he came back. as long as they had life jackets and whatnot for everybody I didn’t see a real reason they HAD to give him a ticket

@@Itzztactics it was more than just a ticket, they charged him with a class a misdemeanor, which means if he doesn’t beat that charge he’s gonna have a criminal record. That’s not something you should be saddled with for something as minor as what happened.

Cletus just a little bit of advice… Wipe your windows on the jet boat with ‘Rain-Ex’. The water runs off like beads and leaves your windows perfectly clear. I used it first on my motorbike helmet visor and never looked back. I use it on my car window screen and don’t need to use the window screen wipers anymore because it leaves the window screen clear even in heavy rain. Love the jet boat videos, top man 👌👍😎

Not sure if in the 4100+ comments it’s been mentioned; but a couple wax rings from a toilet can help patch boat holes. If each boat has one it can be used to stick anything down and seal a leak.

Things you should keep in an aluminum jet boat... Hard rubber mallet with a cone shape on one end and large round on the other. 2 part epoxy that cures underwater, flex seal and good waterproof tape

100% here in NZ we carry a mini saw, flex seal, hammers, ores,"knead it - steel" AND A PLANK OF WOOD(this is for shaping the alloy) - we have to carry Beckons these rivers are kids stuff compared to what we ride in NZ If you can get the boat on dry land to really work on it you can beat it almost perfect and fill the hole with knead it, then slap something on the outside and inside and the knead it will harden and youll be basically water tight - just try to not smash that area again

Oh and a snatchblock to fit your rope and strap to tie it to a tree. You can both pull in a more specific direction and double your pull strength when you really need it.

You guys should really wear helmets when on rapids or rough waters and bring radios to talk with each other when out of LoS. Safety is not only when going down a dragstrip at 200Mph. Loving the boating content. Cleetus' boat needs 3/4" UHMW skidplates all around the hull 🤣🤣

@@sethstaley17 what they were in was easy due to the water level being so high right now from all the rain.. in a couple months those rivers get gnarly when the water level drops but still do-able in jet boats.

@@sirmonkey1985 I know what these little boats are capable of lol. I'm saying these boys are coming from south Florida black water rivers that are pure sand bottoms with easy current, to some class 4-5 rapids. That's a big jump in skill levels and technicalities.

Original Duct tape would have definitely patched up those there slices in the hull , I'm a kiwi ... A New Zealander and the jet boat was invented by Mr Hamilton many moons ago . There's a documentary about him which is a must see !!!! He literally got a tiny wooden dinghy with a tiny engine that I think was a Briggs and Stratton and added his simple tube with the pickup for incoming water and I believe only one impeller. Long story short.. Mr Hamilton got in this thing and took it to the most unbelievable place to test and tested it . There's a photograph of him in the middle of the most unbelievable river , with rageing rapids towering above the boat ,. There's literally waves fifteen to twenty feet above the tiny little boat , it's just a must see documentary that I know you will love. The Hamilton jet boat is well known in New Zealand but surely some one will be interested. Even if you just take a look at this thing that started it all !!! I promise you will not be disappointed .

This is what it's all about , man that looks like a blast . I live in Ontario , Canada and we have a river called the Sugeen River it is huge long as hell and wide. It would be the perfect river for these boats . You guys are a blast to watch . Great vid, thank you
