Everyday I see Sam it reminds me of how blessed we were to have Ed the Neighbor when we did. Sam is not paid nor will he accept money. He’s just volunteering his time for fun and we enjoy the heck out of having him around. He reminds me a lot of Ed, and even of my grandfather we lost earlier this year. Pretty sure he’s here to stay for a while and we’re all very appreciative that he’s joined our team.

My literal retirement plan in 10 years. I have a few local shops in mind already. If my body is still able, I will show up and start sweeping the parking lot etc until they let me hang out. :) Most businesses can use free labor and a guy who managed teams in a fortune 50 company for the last 20 years of his career. I just hope that the crew are as insane as Cleet's.

I really don't understand why people stick V8s in Fieros, to have any room you have to destroy the truck of a relatively rare vehicle. Turbo Ecotecs, and Buick 3800sc make plenty of power and actually fit in the bay without cutting it up.

I think that was his first car or one of his first cars and he has an episode where he goes to the junkyard where he ended up leaving it and does a quick revival on it after it sat for like 20+ years. Fiero's were not slow. They handle very well for their time and actually went out of production because it was almost as fast and better handling than the firebird.

@@michaelblacktree Right up there with Z24's and 2.8L Camaro's. Anything that had a 2.8L multi port was an absolute dog! Hot Rod magazine put a few Z24's on the dyno back in the day to confirm GM's claim that their 2.8 put out 135 HP. The best that Hot Rod could get was 110 HP. I drove a 2.2 liter Dodge Omni shit box at the time that had 98 HP. I left anything 2.8 liter standing at the lights all confused.

I had a V8 Fiero for 18yrs. Built it in 2000 with a 305 automatic. Eventually was a LS3 6 speed! It was my broke version of a C8 lol. Sold it a couple yrs ago and miss it! LONG LIVE THE FIERO!

Tail of the dragon and Cherohala Skyway. I've ridden both of them on the motorcycle. They cross the TN and NC state line. Skyway is by far on of my most favorite roads to ride.

They were considered a pretty safe car back in the day. Most people get hung up on the ones catching fire, was only 4cyl models that had poor maintenance resulted in leaking valve cover onto exh. manifold. Drove my 6 cyl problem free for years even through Michigan winters

Filling them with water seems like a bad idea, the second one gets hit, which will probably be first lap, the tracks gonna have wet spots.... so pumped for this layout though

Dude, I knew it was a Fiero from the silhouette in the thumbnail!! 🤣 Years ago, I knew a guy who drove one, it didn't have a rear hatch, engine exposed, interior completely gutted out, sounded like an outboard motor on a boat, and we had to give him a push-start everyday after work. Awesome 😂👍👍

@@ronjones-6977 The Danger Ranger looked a lot cleaner - mostly. And I think that was because everyone invested their own money, time and energy into the car. There were some scenes in the past Le Mullet's races where people just didn't care and valued having a funny crash higher than conserving the car until the end of the race. Would be interesting to see how they treated the Crown Vics when told the next race they'll have to drive the same car or be out.

My first car was an 86 fiero se it was a 4 cyl auto and it was dangerously slow but at 16-17 years old I was living the dream I thought it was the fastest and coolest car on the road. It did catch on fire once but still loved it and miss it can’t stop smiling when y’all showing around the fieros it brings back memories
