People pay a lot of money to be spooked, from haunted houses, scary movies and frightening costumes. Sometimes however urban legends and local ghost stories can be the best scare of all. That is if you're brave enough to see if they are true. KXLY4's Annie Bishop has more on Spooky Spokane.

Especially if you don't try very hard, have a poor work ethic and an over inflated sense of entitlement.

They forgot the Old Steam Plant Grill Ghost. Had that Spirit physically touch me when "he" must of heard my Mother gripe about my crooked coat collar. I did not see him, but I felt a hand grab my coat collar, pull it up physically 3 inches off my shoulder and set it down flat firmly in the span of a second! But no living soul was within 50 feet! I IMMEDIATELY reported what happened to a restaurant manager! He just laughed and said, "Oh, I see you met our resident ghost! Don't worry, he's benign. We think he was a former Steam Worker who never left. He usually is reported leaning on people's shoulders while they are on a computer or on their phones....like he is looking over their shoulder seeing what they are doing. But fixing coat collars is a new one......he usually has a thing for new technology." I then recalled how a secretary TWICE fled to Mom's coffee shop with the jitters telling us she felt a ghosts hand on her shoulders while on a computer working...and she was not going back till her husband came back. We secretly laughed about it. 😳Now I believe her. My Mother also reported a force (not malicious but just watching) just before my coat incident. Looking back, I am honored to experience what I did. A cool benign ghost encounter. I now believe!👻 Wonder what the Steam Plant Ghost thinks of smart phones........ Bet ton's of restaurant pardons playing app games waiting for their food report an entity looking over their shoulder swearing they felt an hand on their shoulder! RIP Steam Plant Spirit. Hope You are Happy. 👻😄📲. Can he play app games? LOL. I may go back and give him a visit (now live in Texas). Say hello. But no Oijoi Boards! I REFUSE to play with one of those!

They also forgot the Sacred Heart none ghost rumored to be seen wandering by the Gift Shop. I have worked there for over 25 years on the floors- NOTHING.

Its Greenwood's keeper of the etheric between :that the stone steps are climbed...66 the reporter said as the expose explained that local legend whispers to the dark imagination of a specter stealthy balancing on precipice of the mausoleum like a doorway to the land of millions of souls that can never rest.that takes your breath as thought you just stepped up a" Thousand steps " .lookin so commandingly his stare will peirce your soul and make your blood run cold.his glaring red eyes are embers of hells first eternal stole menacing taking of that very 1st innocent soul.tormented forever feeding the denizen who's skull face seems to always smile in fearful hungry grimace.he dose not float ; he jumps from his perch, landin cat like a black panther watching. its prey holds its breath his tattered swirling shroud concealing an identity. Then time stands stills slowly he rises stretching becoming more frightening .a scythe unseen now in old stone bone hands grasp when full erect towering over your being; eyes bulging unable to swallow its so menacingly powerful your hair standing on end.its easily 15 feet tall tasting the electrical charge.gasping for air.he speak into your mind because you dared to enter his domain; walked the thousand steps and dont even know his name hes the guardian of the between :where unrested souls and evil things after dark by his command dance in the moon glow and torment visibly those that are dammed.and who should that unholy terror be who at Greenwood cemetery will show you a reason to thinking before taking that last step across the threshold of your world to his reality. The Walker.by your throat you'll be lifted stilling your world but his eyes tell you what he says as he points back to the bottom of the steps ancient and cracked.dont walk my path mortal neither by day or night.use the gate meant for you who's flesh is not rotting, and only when its iron is opened to visit the dead you now disrepect.foryou my mercy comes this night as an acid etched fear in your psyche it's your only warning :tell other fools like you the same if they get an inclination to be unwelcomed guests once the iron gates do close do not risk to wander daringly up the thousand steps for the Walker lLoves proving he exsists..this is no lie and I know you can feel it if your hair is tingling and goose bumps rise you do a discharging shiver yet like your grave has been invaded? Its becuse I have Seen the WALKER.and with my words I hope I conveyed with the electic cold you feel in your veins..I am speaking of a very fearful Truth.dont disrespect the Walkers Domain.

Now I remember why local news is a load of s^%t when they do stuff like this. There are actual things to fear but they want to talk about ghost story anecdotes with no evidence. I ate at Patsy Clark's and it was great. I looked around and saw rooms I wasn't supposed to see. I know why- it was boring! 5:03 I felt like something was behind me. Yeah, probably a guilty conscience.
