Spokey Dokey by The Seatbelts from the anime Cowboy Bebop covered by Max Körlinge
Played on a Hohner Marine Band in D-
Marine bands have an iconic sound, but I have adjusted this harmonica quite heavily myself, replacing nails with screws, opening up the back, embossing the reed plates, etc. For playing out-of-the-box, I would recommend using a Suzuki Manji in D.
As I mentioned in a previous video on Diggin my Potato, the harmonica songs in Cowboy Bebop made me start playing the harp, and covering them has always been a goal of mine. Spokey Dokey's intro is really tough to play and the player plays with so much feeling it's crazy. I've done my best and here's my version without guitar backing, in some places like the original and in some places less so (the ending most of all). I hope you enjoy it nontheless!
