Daniel Martinez i wonder if they actually still that coding. i mean they have the original coding for the base game we all know and love and Hd it but all that cut content was just that cut content. if they add that cut content wouldn’t it would the nostalgia factor from all of us who played it? we would get to experience new things sure but i’m sure most of us will be happy with a Hd version of the final product. there were so many levels and playable characters cut i doubt they’re just plopped those in the hd remake. that would be kinda insulting to us in a way.

really ive waiting fro this for years. Literally the first thing that I ever did in youtube , that got me to learn and start using the platform was a walkthrough a BattleForBikiniBottom. Ive never played the original game either (Im not even old enough to have such an old gen console, cause if i did i bet ya I would have bought it immedeately), but the game causes a different kind of nostalgia to me, being what introduced me to game walkthroughs and youtube in general, it reminds me of all the old times watching game walkthroughs for hours. Heck I still schedule annual rewatches of a BFBB Walkthrough its basically like christmas for me at this point. Now that there will be a remake Ill finally be able to get my hands on this legendary game and i couldnt be more excited!

this makes me happy. here are the spongebob games i have. i have the first spongebob movie game, the second spongebob movie game, spongebob super sponge,spongebob revenge of the flying dutchman and spongebob truth or square, those games i have are for playstation and xbox and gameboy advanced and i know there are others out there but this game i never had and now that it's coming back for today's consoles i am happy,i want this game.

This game was big in my child hood. The fact it's being remade is so hype. Plus it gonna be on the switch too so playing that game anywhere it gonna be dope

Played it literally all the time as a kid. Really hope it'll be on GameCube. It should defiantly stay the same, but have a a couple changes as well as some cool modern Spongebob easter eggs.

Anyone else remember the point and click PC version of Battle for Bikini Bottom? I do and remember it fondly, and in fact still have it and play it from time to time.

I never had a GameCube, but I _do_ still have the PC version that I played as a kid. The Chum Bucket soundtrack still stands out to me to this day, even.

I played that game a lot in the 2000's. In fact it's the only THQ/Nickelodeon game released in 2003 that I still own.

You know, I have SpongeBob SquarePants Battle for Bikini Bottom for the Nintendo Gamecube and it was pretty good.

If gameplay hasn't been announced yet, I think they should incorporate flight mostly for missions involving dogfights, sky races, and missions where you can't reach a certain golden spatula by platforming. But how you ask? With Spongebob's (and Patrick's) inflatable pants, which grants unlimited flight after fueling up any boys' pants. For Sandy, she would have gas stations to fuel up her jetpack for limited flight, but a cheat can be purchased with shiny objects to grant Sandy unlimited fuel.

Oh yes I remember the pc version, I had it along with a jimmy neutron game and a fairly odd parent game on an old demo disk, good times wonder if I still have it buried under all the junk in my house

I love that game so much. I still own it and made a 100% run not long ago. Maybe I will get the remake aswell, I most likely will. Can't wait to see the first gameplay the show us. Want so see how they upgraded it
