47:54 this is a very unhealthy lie, you essentially can't have too many amino acids, unless you eat only protein and nothing else not even meat just pure protein and even then it'll be hard to overdo it if you aren't unhealthy, And if they're amino acids and not protein you don't even have to do most of the digestion, It's like saying it has too much healthiness, and that is utterly ludicrous

This has nothing to do with anything, but Syndrome DID outright state in the movie that he sold his tech so that he could afford to develop his island. Patenting his inventions was just in service of his greater goal.

It's been a while since I've seen the incredibles, but wasn't patenting and selling his inventions like a big part of his plan? “The reason it feels ok to genuinely mock modern Spongebob is that it’s legitimately quite sickening that Viacom is literally going against Steven Hillenburg’s wishes after his death...” Just like in the show itself, the true villain of this story is capitalism.

Actually, it turns out that Stephen Hillenburg knew about Kamp Koral when he was alive, and he NEVER said he didn't want any spinoffs. He said he just didn't see it happening. This whole thing was a massive misunderstanding.

"Don't Mr. Krabs' naby buddies show up in a different episode?" Yes. I swear the using of the main cast for the old navy story one is such bullshit when in Shell Of A Man, a good episode. Mr. Krabs' old navy friends literally show up to the Krusty Krab for a reunion and we see them all right there on screen. Just like, use those guys! Just go to the wiki for the episode or go watch the backlog record, and just use them! That would have been a great reference, and even though as far as i care any idea of a timeline for the episodes is for fan theories alone, it wouldn't really matter which episode of the two happened first SINCE IT'S ALREADY A FLASHBACK STORY!

I'll agree enter really fucked up when he did that, but he's not done it since, he's apologized both publicly and privately, and has never once tried to defend his actions, or shown anything other than remorse. It'd be nice to think, though it becomes more apparent every day that this is not the case, but it'd be nice to think that genuine apologies, followed by action and effort would mean something to people, when in reality you're still going to be characterized and attacked over it literal years after it happened.

@kneesturnedvelvet37253 жыл бұрын
A lot of the takes in this video are kind of uncharitable and cynical, to my mind. Henry also seems to REALLY romanticize early Spongebob, which is not absent of flaws either. I mean, re: gruesomeness, remember Patrick shaving spongebob down to make him round? Or the suds episode? Or dying for pie, when the episode ends with a pie blowing up the whole town. And re: Mr Krabs being less greedy in the past, remember him literally graverobbing to get his #1 hat back?
@WeRNotAlive3 жыл бұрын
I mean, the difference was not that Krabs was less greedy, it was that he wasn't only greedy. In the suds episode, he sent Spongebob home because he was sick, and he also tried a number of less extreme methods before robbing Smitty's grave. The problem is that in later Spongebob the characters continually do the most extreme and generally most cruel thing their characters would do without any build-up. When it happens several time in an episode, the comedy loses impact all that is left is the character choices themselves.

With Plankton's plan of becoming more successful than the Krusty Krab, I think it's more humiliating to outdo his rival in his own game. Plus, he went to college and still doesn't help with his depth perception.

ya know modern SpongeBob is just flanderization the show, its being going on longer then I've been alive and I think its time we take the old show out back and put em down. The worst part is that from the basic title and premise, pull up a barrel sounds like it could be home. Maybe change the set up to the idea of a storm stopping them from going home at the end of the ship and the characters telling stories to pass the time. It's not a unique idea but it's one that can be fun, heck throw in a plankton b plot if you want. I don't care. .....also ICarly was one of my childhood shows..... The fuck you say....
