All movies and episodes that came out after it were prequels, stated by the creators themselves. Second, I don't think a kid could become a manager at a fast food restaurant or even work there.

Spongebob was made to be an adult and the only reason the Boating School exists in the show was basically to shut Nick up about them wanting him to be a kid.

Actually, it's not THQ. THQ went bankrupt in 2013 and a company called Nordic Games got the trademark, later renaming themselves THQ Nordic.

Agreed. Stephen Hillenburg shouldn't have outlived his own creation. At least initially. It should have ended around his death so it could be rebooted ten or so years later, but Nick just can't rely on other shows to make money.

Stephen never wanted a spin-off series so what does Nick do, they wait for him to die so they could make a spin-off series that Steve never wanted. That's very disrespectful of Nickelodeon to do to a deseased man.

I've been noticing this myself, Nickelodeon seems to be going full throttle at bringing back Spongebob. New movies, new TV series, Target has "Spongebob Meme Action Figures", the Battle for Bikini Bottom remaster, it's all kinda crazy. They clearly are trying to push him as the mascot of Nick down everyone's throats once again, but its kind of a weird time to do so.

As a creator myself(and like many who grew up with his work)l am disgusted completely disgusted that Nickelodeon would try to railroad his final wishes to not have his work spun off or dragged on anymore. I know I wouldn’t want someone doing that. I hope his family looks into this and tries to intervene.

It would better if they had a hour long episode with where Spongebob meets Patrick seeing that "Help Wanted" implied that they were friends since childhood. Then they also could have him move into his Pineapple home, meet Squidward and a few more thing before "Help Wanted" takes place. Or they could do this similarly to the Legend of Bikini Bottom specials they did back in Season 7.

Ok, so maybe Kamp Koral would be decent if it only had SpongeBob, Patrick, and Gary. But if they include Sandy (Who SpongeBob CLEARLY met in Season 1 episode 2) Mr Krabs, Squidward, Mrs. Puff, Plankton, Pearl,(Which will create a giant plot hole since Pearl is Mr Krabs' daughter!!) Or even Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, Then Kamp Koral would be *REALLY CONFUSING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!*
