Spooky Month Fan Animatic // "VO Challenge as Bob Velseb"

Жыл бұрынHad such a blast imagining and boarding this fan animation scene over the course of 2 months! With Corey LeVier's incredible performance, as his character Bob, it provided me with a fun learning challenge to play with character acting, moods and tone within a more dramatic setting. And just for fun, I wanted to give it more polish (as I worked on this during my free time) and added some sound effects to make the characters feel like they were interacting within their environment haha. :)
** Quick Edit: This is not an Official Spooky Month video. I'm just another fan of Sr Pelo’s ( / @srpelo ) Spooky Month series who wanted to create an animated piece from audio of a couple of voice actors I was inspired by! :)

@@riverpoison1652 Well ofc he has emotions but he tries to look unpredictable, and creepy and inorder to do that ussualy people resort to being silent and quiet Bob becomes emotional only when it's too much for him (like Yoo annoying, too painful, too bad Yknow And he doesn't become this strongly emotional in the show Here he's super emotional and acting out alot, which I like because it makes him more scary and unpredictable cuz he's a violent angry upset big guy who will swing his dead big fists and beat up anything

@@superkirbsonic9333 *A popular theory, that I believe in is that Bob is possessed by Beelzebub, as if you know your lore, he is the Demon King who represents the Sin Of Gluttony, as it explains why Bob is always shown eating whenever he gets the chance to, it's to help feed his Demon that has control of his body, explains also why Bob is more active during Halloween since duh, a bunch of candies are given out, and Bob can disguised himself easily with the crowd in his Devil costume. Also have you noticed Bob's last name 'Velseb' sounds pretty close to Beelzebub's pronunciation.*

I’ve been in many toxic relationships before, and sometimes I did think of doing inexplicable things to said people, but my mother taught me well enough to not give in to those temptation’s, as I just dumped them and got on with my life, please don’t stay in a toxic relationship, Because abusive partners will only make you feel like you are worth so little, when you’re not.*

Seeing this animated is amazing!❤ Looks like a few people have different headcanons for what he’s talking about, Corey obviously picked his wording carefully so we can have some fun. Interpreting things literally or figuratively. Some people are interpreting that he killed an abusive ex, who stripped him of his self worth. I’m going off the different headcanon that Bob was once happily married and well adjusted, I think he’s talking about the person who killed his spouse that he got revenge on. Both of these headcanons work with the idea that he had a great loss and originally joined the cult for revenge then stayed cause now he’s a monster.

Corey was actually reading off of a script of a Tiktok made by the person who voiced the interrogator. But that's not to say we can't theorize why Bob would say it in the story. My personal theory is that he was lured into the cult back when he was a mentally stable restaurant owner, and the cult basically made him change everything about himself, as cults do, also forcing him to kill those that he cared about to "prove" himself. It eventually drove him to snap, and the victim was actually one of the members.

I thought in the original video she had her lines done and it was a full in the gaps challenge, so people could respond with their own story etc. and Corey came up with his lines. That HC works too, I’ve seen a few people showing Bob killing other cult members. You can see him being one of those kind of characters who people on his team are terrified of, the other cult members probably tip toe around him but he’s useful to them.

Absolutely incredible! You are able to match the style of the original series so well. Despite this not being an actual animation, there is just so much personality and expressiveness in this whole video. I'm honestly very disappointed the original isn't longer. This was so good I wanted to see more. I really do think you could make it on the actual crew one day. Great work!!
