Something I like to think is that “God”/the Entity isn’t even aware that they’re causing harm to people who experience their “glorious” presence. An oblivious god is almost as scary as a malicious one, in my opinion.

I think it was due to it not having cheap jumpscares. Those do give a moment of adrenaline, but that’s not the same as creating a sensation of actual fear.

I remember watching this a while ago. The way that we don't get a clear picture of what it looks like other than how it interacts with lighting works so well.The amount of short horror films on KZfaq that outclass full length Hollywood horror films in so many ways and leave a much bigger impression on the audience is astounding. People are so creative and talented when given the freedom to do so.

If we're going down the short horror film rabbit hole, I'm all in for it. I'm particularly fond of Alter horror (though given how many videos the channel puts out and different tastes in horror, there are bound to be hits and misses for everybody).

I love this video and am so glad you reacted to it.😁 NEVER saw the eyes on the left; thanks to whoever pointed that out.😱 I feel you tend to go on these binges of certain types of reactions, so you doing a bunch of horror reactions isn't too surprising, and personally I'm all for it. Can't wait for the next Emperor TTS and Tex Talk Battletech binges to.😂

As a Christian and a horror fan, this is one of my favourite horror shorts! I would have definitely given it at least an 8.5 or a 9/10, it was awesome!

Fantastic video, loved this short film since I saw someone else react to it, so I'm glad it's getting recognition ^^ if you're looking for more spooky stuff, I'd recommend some Kane Pixels stuff (the Backrooms series is nice but I prefer the Oldest View myself)

So this is from a guy named Dylan Clark and I've been a fan of his for years. He makes a new short and posts 2 or 3 times a year and everytime I get that notification I am THERE for it. I can especially recommend all of his other films, but my favorite is probably either "Behind the Frame" or "Home Movies"

I love Portrait of God! such a good short film. For other short films, I recommend The Gunfighter(magnetfilm), There's a Man in the Woods(DAT2T animation), for a good, long-form horror film, watch Glorious. It is on Shudder, has J.K. Simmons in it, very good. also, for another good youtube animation, I would love to see a reaction to the Mystery Skulls Animated videos, Ghost, Freaking out, Hellbent, and The Future
