Green woodworking or green slöjd! Watch this video to see how I carve a greenwood maple serving spoon, with a variety of tools I use for making my crafts. This setup works really great for me because I don't use few tools that will cause my hands and joints to hurt and wear out! It's a tough job to carve spoons, but you now.. I love it :)
I do this full time so I have do it as effective as possible.
Spooncarving success = Proper tools, techniques and razor sharpness!
Carving a maple serving spoon with:
Julia Kalthoff axe
Hans Karlsson 35mm adze
Svante Djärv drawknife + shavehorse
Nic Westermann 65mm twca cam
Morakniv 220 splitting knife + sloydknife 106 + 163 open spoonknive, which I've made single beveled.
ASMR to the people!

@formgjortbyJonasAls 4 жыл бұрын
Hey Hugo! wow, that means a lot to me. Thank you! It's so important to have full control of your tools, especially when it comes to the axe which is a wonderful tool, but also really dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. The shavehorse is a Svante Djärv, from Sweden. I think they're some of the best. For me at least. I'll take some pictures and post it on my Instagram soon. Can't post anything here yet.. But I'm working on it. Need 500 more subscribers and 2000 more viewhours. I might get there before newyears eve i Hope :) Cheers from Denmark!
