Interestingly, a lot of the karate practitioners of the 1960s had a very similar level of athleticism. There was such a combination of training styles - if anyone gets their hands on vintage Chuck Norris (yeah, don't laugh) you'll be blown away by his speed and how he literally flies through the air.
