leather is nice, but in the winter, u either have to get the truck warm enough to warm the seats or if the seats warm up then u have to wait for the seats get warm. So i will stck to clothe seats

I watched a different video comparing the M2 106 to the M2 112. He said the M2 106 did not have air brakes but hydraulic brakes therefore you did not need a special license to drive it. But the M2 112 did have air brakes. Did the brake system change or was that incorrect information?

So that is true on the regular sportchassis trucks - The M2-106 is hydraulic brake and 19,500GVWR, the M2-112 is air brakes and ~29,000 GVWR. The 4x4 one in this video is an exception as they are extremely rare with only a handful built so the 4x4 ones are air brake.

A shame that whe don't have these machines in Holland/Europe. Someday I hope to drive something like this here. I would prefer a 4x2 and lower wheels and tyres.

The rear wheels are so close to the back. It looks like they would snap right off if you accelerate too hard

No one should have air brakes and less you completely understand how to use them that could be dangerous. That thing has gotta be almost peppy with a 8 liter midsize Cummins with nothing hooked to it. The same crappy Freightliner business class interior just in woodgrain it's probably barely holding together.

I'm not a truck driver but wonder why air brakes would be dangerous?

@707SonomaComa Because they can leak. If they leak down to a certain psi they lock up. You need to know how to do a leak down test (part of a pre-trip inspection) to test if the brakes are leaking, and how much. Yes, I have a CDL with all endorsements.

@@usmc03 yes, I'm sure there is very good reason why you need to pass all those tests. I saw another video about class 8 trucks and (if I remember correctly) they said if they add some type of generator and a roof top AC unit it magically turns into a common RV that does not require a class comercial A license. Have you heard that too?

Exactly ! Until the operator is proficient in the use air brakes the entire apparatus should disconnected from functioning with the subject vehicle

There are head rests available on these, we just have them removed as it makes it easier to turn into a bed.

The guy doing the review sells hundreds more of these Sportchassis trucks that anyone else in the USA, by a substantial amount, so i guess you would call that qualified to review how he likes :-)
