Located around 50 kms(2 hour drive) from Bangalore, Sportico Resort is good for someone who is interested in adventure sports or someone who is just looking for a weekend getaway. It is one of the beautiful resorts located in the outskirts of Bangalore. Exact is location is Malur. It is also one of the resorts in Bangalore with activities and is good for corporate events. They also have day outing/day packages available. This is good for both couples and family.
They have 9 suite rooms and 35 superior rooms. The restaurant was huge and could accommodate all the room guests comfortably. The food was good. The High - Tea was included in the package.
The swimming pool was huge but lacked maintenance since it looked like it hadn't been cleaned recently. Some of the rooms had a very pungent odour coming from the bathrooms. We informed the management about this and they promised us that they will fix this issue.
The adventure sports was still under construction when I visited this resort. Some of the adventure sports they will have in the near future are ATV Bike Ride, Zipline, Rope Course, etc. They also have outdoor games like cricket, badminton, volleyball, etc
