Yo yooo hope everyone had an amazing Memorial Day weekend! 🤔 We went out to Shipshewana Indiana for the big Memorial Day card show they have every year. We went down there with $500 and spent every single penny. 🤑

I wanna give a quick shoutout to the Card Shop Live, they’re the ones that made everything possible. The Card Shop Live is a brand new app that is perfect for sports card collectors. There’s live auctions, set prices, box breaks, and a ton more. Not only that, but it’s also a very cool space to come hangout with other collectors in the card hobby.

So overall it was an extremely fun show. Probably the best card show experience I’ve had personally so far. We bought a ton of really nice stuff and I’m very curious to see what you guys thought about the show and the pick ups! 🔥

@@skybcards please dont laugh at me, but i have a question if you could only buy ONE or TWO cards as a LONG TERM INVESTMENT that is EASY TO SELL that is between say $5,000-$10,000 basketball card, that will HOLD ITS VALUE and possibly go up in the long term, which one would it be? thanks, NOT as a short term FLIP that you think will go up, but that is already expensive but will hold its value for sure.

Cool pick ups. the first $300 went quick but whoever wins the Prizm mega will be stokkeeed. Thought you did solid on the boxes, and okay on the cards. Were mostly PC style cards but not an issue. Love the video keep it rolling

I remember in the early 2000s u could go into any target or Walmart & find tons of cards. Some of my best retail finds were 5 target exclusive 2014 Topps Update mega boxes for $14.99 each (pulled 3 chrome mookies & 2 paper), a full case of 2015 topps chrome baseball 3 pack cellos for $4.99ea., ten 2020 topps chrome mega boxes for $39.99ea. It used to be quite easy cause nobody was reselling retail back then, shelves always full of high end retail.

Great video. but again never never understood these videos from influencers or guys who go to shows and advertise the prices they paid for the cards and then try to resell on live auctions or other apps. I cannot imagine a person who sees a buyer buy smthg for $20 is going to pay more than that $ amount. I never understand that logic or lack of logic
