Of course he looks nervous! I just saw him at The National in Chicago this past weekend and he looked nervous there too. He used to interact with buyers alongside the merch display shelves. He stayed in the center of his hub the entire time looking shady as usual. Probably was thinking about which Alzheimer’s patient’s home he could prey on next for their unopened collections to search and reseal 🤷🏻‍♂️

funny how this video came out questioning BBCE and then they had a 86 basketball box ripped at the national recently on multiple streaming platforms only to be clearly a repacked box.

It's funny to me how almost all the new hobby gurus have such bad ideas...they said go buy Luka dancic prizm rookies, they said go buy nba top shot, now they are pushing silly NFT cards and go buy boxes. I purchase and open my boxes. Just last year, I opened up an older box of bowman sterling. It looked sealed, but when I opened it the packs had all been gone thru. Also on similar note, there is no way that PSA can really actually authenticate autographs and they do not and cannot collect DNA samples from thr players and cards. Yet, psa writes auto/dna certified...this is extremely misleading.
@cardboardu6019
@cardboardu6019 2 жыл бұрын
It's synthetic DNA, it means the holder itself is un copyable. I don't disagree with everything you said, but it seemed like you might not know what the psa/dna process is
@natenicholas9228
@natenicholas9228 2 жыл бұрын
@@cardboardu6019 I read what you are talking about in regard to the DNA synthetic and I feel this is still quite misleading. With all of their safety features in their slabs, they put the word DNA front and center on ONLY their autographed slabs? Me and many other people would think that by putting the word DNA on the front of all autographed slabs this would mean its some sort of normal DNA verification...which actually is not practically possible. If it is just a safety feature then why would psa put The DNA feature on all $100 dollar autographed cards and not regular cards worth 10s of thousands of dollars...makes no sense.

Watch Rattle Pokemon's excellent investigative work and decide for yourself whether all involved were duped. The sportscard world needs people like Rattle Pokemon. For an industry that is worth billions of dollars there seems to be very few resources dedicated to safeguarding its integrity. And as the industry grows and becomes ever more lucrative more and more criminals will get involved - and not just a few select scammers. It will attract serious organised criminals who will produce cards - and cases - that will be very hard to detect from the real thing. It might be business as usual for now but there will be a tipping point where good people have no faith in the industry and turn their attention elsewhere.

Poor Logan, still having bald friends that are giving him fake cards again. Rattle was telling the world that it was fake and he was himself threatened and not heard by these people that Logan calls friends. This is why Logan made the opening live stream because he had finally listened to Rattle. Yet, these other bozos still didn’t due there due diligence by making sure that it was real prior to the opening . They were giving a chance multiple times prior to the opening.

Anything with a BBCE logo or Steve Hart’s name on it, I ain’t buying it. I had one too many fraudulent experiences with them on vintage wax. Every HOFer hit I’ve pulled had some major defect - PD, OC, MC, ST or the gum card 🙄 Meanwhile, most of the worthless commons would all be nicely centered, sharp and clean in EVERY pack. Too many coincidences for me not to believe that they search and reseal packs. Yep I said it!

I know on a big ticket item like this there is no room for error, but let's be honest here, no one gets it right all the time, so you have to know a mistake is possible, I'm sure there are tons of fake stuff sitting in fancy museums all over the world right now because it fooled their authenticators...PSA, BAS & JSA have all screwed up on autographs, but the COA's say it's their "opinion the item is authentic", not that it is...This is why I don't grade things, grading or authenticating is just getting someone else's opinion on the item and at the end of the day I trust my own opinion more than anyone else's when it comes to my collection.
@martinbudinsky8912
@martinbudinsky8912 2 жыл бұрын
You would be surprised but you wont find fake stuff at museum. Well the bigger ones at the very least. You wouldnt believe how hard it is for stuff to get added into museums. It gets compared to other items from the same time period and place. It gets carbon dated, X-rayed and so much more... And thats not just to authenticate the stuff but also to find out more about the place during the time the item was made (for example many "venuses" were found out to be made out of stone from completely different countries than they were found in - which proves either migration, trading or at the very least contact of ancient tribes). Not to mention the education you need to have to be even authenticating that stuff. As someone with major in history I can tell you that its no joke. Comparing it to these "amateurs" (I cant find better word for it) that were rating the cards for Logan Paul... Thats just impossible. That said you are correct that there will always be mistakes. But usually what happens is that the item in the museum isnt fake but younger replication of the same thing made for some aristocrat. So its not the original but its still few hundreds of years old. This however is rarer and rarer because everything is getting carbon dated lately and you cant really fake that...

not with this, all they did was look at the box and was like "yup, that's a taped-up box". I would bet money that they did not even try to look up examples of previous cases even older sets. In my opinion, they either had some money coming their way or, they wrapped it because they wanted to have their company name on a huge product like that. And becuase of that, they did not do their due diligence and research to make sure it is 100% without a doubt real.
@Nocturne989
@Nocturne989 2 жыл бұрын
It is evident from the facts that BBCE did nowhere near the kind of due diligence that would be required and expected for just one Base Set Box, let alone an entire First Edition case. You said it yourself. there is no room for error. This was millions of dollars in potentially irreplaceable collectible goods.
