Sports Direct has promised to ditch zero-hours contracts, and give nearly 20 thousand employees a guaranteed number of hours instead. The country's biggest sports retailer has launched a major overhaul of its working practices in response to a stinging internal investigation, that called its failure to pay some staff the minimum wage "unacceptable".
