Niu Power SPORTS TOK 7s into its 7th YEAR

The 7s format of rugby union is one of the most popular sports around the world, rugby 7s is played by more than 130 countries in the world, and Pacific nations like Fiji, Samoa, and Tonga have some of the best 7s players in the world, our biggest Melanesian Rivals in sport Fiji have won the Gold Medal in 7s at the Olympics twice.
In Papua New Guinea we are still yet to reach our full potential in 7s, but some 7s tournaments have become part of the country's rugby calendar, which offers the opportunity for a chance to play 7s at the international level.
PNG as a member of world rugby takes part in sanctioned tournaments in locations across the Globe, Quantum Media is an SME and for the past 7 years hosted the Sports Tok 7s, just to allow talent across the country to take part in the tournament and get a crack at a spot in the country's national team.
The Niu Power Sports Tok 7s, this year has reached a new milestone having 32 teams in the men's division, this is a clear indication of the interest in the sport, the three day Niu Power Sports Tok 7s tournament starts today the 29th of March 2024 and will end with the finals on the 31st of March 2024.
