Because I rarely ever see anybody complaining about all the men on the tour that grunt. Thankfully they mostly talk about the match at hand and the quality of play, whereas those that just watch women's tennis constantly complain about grunting, when players have been grunting for decades. And instead of talking about the match at hand and the quality of this particular match, lo and behold your choice of comment is not about the quality of play, but of course only to complain about the grunting.

Personally I think the umpire should start giving warnings to screamers, male or female. Then maybe that nonsense will stop. I play tennis myself, but luckily I'm an amateur and only with people who don't fight. These screams are completely unjustified!! They are ruining this sport! The difference is perhaps that women moan much louder and higher. A bright female voice is much more annoying. Some men annoy me too.
