I REALLY enjoyed this episode. Vertical jigging deep water crappie is my FAVORITE thing to do. I just got Lowrance Active Target so that should be even more fun.

I tend to lean towards trout magnets and crappie magnets tipped with chartreuse plastics or watermelon pearl gulp minnows. I catch hundreds of crappies but only keep enough for a couple of meals each time. 💪😎

I'm curious....if you pause it at 2:04, I can see that you have a ladder underneath your wave whacker on the stern of the boat.....is that plastic removable? if you fall out of the boat, can you get up the ladder with that wave whacker in place?

I would have to say the Live Target is the biggest difference. Now ANYONE can catch fish.
