@@debr4265 There is a chance, not guaranteed though that Kucherov be sat out the final game. There is zero meaning for him to play the last game. It would give him a bit of extra rest. But if he plays and does get 100 assists as well, then that would only be the 2nd time ever that 2 have 100 in the same season.

@@zog16 Arizona is a deceptively good team. San Jose is simply and historically terrible. Nobody is remotely close to being as bad as the Sharks except for maybe Chicago.

Sharks won the third period… a game lasts 60 minutes not 40… yeah it was over after 40 but that won’t happen in the play offs where games are a minimum of 60 minutes. They will need to be giving it all for the whole game to be successful and better to get into that mindset ahead of game 1

I want to see Oilers go all the way. But as a pragmatic fan I also see some other stacked competition this year. Dallas, Winnipeg and Colorado in the central division alone. There are a lot of difficult series to call.

Yes. The same Sharks that took Dallas to OT. The same Sharks that LA only put two behind them. Are they a poor team? yes! But thinking you can just stroll in against other NHL drafted players and do what you like is fantasy.

For the longest time, it felt like the hockey gods didn’t want Connor to get 100a. His first pass goes into the next, his next few are either picked off, or deflected into the goalie/post. Took them 9 goals to get Connor’s 1A on the night. Amazing stuff

What a game! Big congratulations once again to the captain on 100 assists, we watched hockey history tonight!! A truly incredible feat, and I'll forever be grateful that he ended up an Edmonton Oiler back in 2015! Now, I know that our chances of getting first are almost non-existent. But until it becomes impossible, I'm still going to hope for a miracle finish! So tomorrow, I'm going to be a Flames fan for the evening👍 Way to go, Oilers!! I know it was the Sharks, but still a good confidence-boosting win!

They seem to have more depth this game at all 4 lines. Conner only had 1 assist so it shows they can score without a PPG and without McJesus being on the ice all the time. If they play like this, its a ticket to the Finals!

One thing we can say this year is there are a lot of players having amazing seasons. There are at least 5 players who any other year would be the clear favorite, and yet this year who knows. Don't get hung up on hero worship. Most awards are peoples opinions, and everybody has one.

San Jose is such a dumpster fire team lately, can't stay that way too much longer. I'm happy McDavid got 100 assist, but they looked like they were playing a beer league team, that's how bad they were wrecking them. I am pretty sure the Oilers could have racked up 15 or more goals, but at 9-2 what's the point.

Ein Training Spiel für die Oilers und mit Connor, Glück für die Haie nicht auch noch zweistellig zu verlieren😅. Schade das sie das Spiel gegen die Coyoten verloren haben aber man konnte sehen das sie nicht immer in ihr Spiel finden. So stark waren die Coyoten nicht das man sie nicht hätte bezwingen können. Ansonsten ein überragendes Spiel der Oilers. Sie haben eindrucksvoll gezeigt zu was sie in der Lage sind und der neue Trainer hat sie wieder auf Kurs gebracht. I think back to the game against Canucks, when that poor kid watched his team get destroyed 10-1 and he had a sign that said 'This is my first Sharks game'. I wonder how he must be feeling after this wretched season, especially if he watched this game. San Jose are fortunate that they have 2x more wins than the Red Wings of 2020, because otherwise, they would be the worst ever team in the 21st century bar none.

@@kropking I can respect that. All I ever heard about Perry was there was some kind of 'incident' with the Hawks that may or may not have been 'alcohol-fueled'. No real details have ever been reported but I assume the the Oilers head office knew the details before the signed him. I wasn't thrilled by them signing Evander Kane at first but I think he's been an asset to the team.
