I have been a huge fan of Ekholm since he arrived here. If I could buy the home for him I would but thank you for choosing the Oilers Ek and keep up the awesome job! You’re the glue we needed and now we want the cup this year!

@@969kurt yeah maybe he had no say but I don’t believe that entirely. I think they gave him the benefit of some say at least. But even so. I don’t think he’s hating the move because I have to believe that your mood shows up in your game and right now he’s playing extremely well.

😂😂😂sure seems that he was living it up a bit hey? And Ekholm mentioned that the Oilers can’t just out score their opponents every game, that they’re going to have to be tighter defensively and here we are a week later with back to back shutouts!! 👍🏻😀

This is the kind of respect for where you are in life and for what helped get you there that Champions are made of.....this is the One True History of the Edmonton Oilers.....20 years from now people will be talking about Nuge AND Leon AND Nurse AND Connor turning the Oilers Franchise 360 degrees.....this IS your Edmonton Oilers History in the making....I hope as Fans we are all as aware of the here and now as Leon seems to be because thats called being grounded and its very important to a well rounded life. This has been a well managed NHL Season so far and this man is a big part of that dynamic.....carry on young man you are impressing me more and more every year. Well done Leon. Go Oilers!!!!

I actually had the privilege of working a couple of charity events with him here in Nashville. Dude is just as nice in person as he is here. If you ever meet him, be ready for a conversation. He loves to talk.

We still love ya here in Nashville, buddy. Meant a great deal to this franchise and I'm glad to see yet another underrated Preds dman go on to show the league how wrong they are as usual. Now if only they could have gotten over the novelty of a young defenseman, that will no doubt win his own share of hardware, to not snub Josi for his sheer performance last year on an offensively anemic Preds team. Oh well...you're welcome, Edmonton. Enjoy it
