I honestly really enjoy him on sportsnet. He offers an interesting view on hockey. He also has a lot of interesting stories.

I do too. He also ruined the Leafs. Set us back 5 years. I'm cool now, but one of the worst GM's in my life.

After listening to the sycophants at TSN, it's refreshing to listen to honest opinions from Brian Burke.

So you get Burke on the show and don't ask a single question about the Flames? He volunteered that he thinks Treliving doesn't need him anymore, but I was curious to hear what he thinks the Flames' issues were this year and how he thinks they could be fixed. I guess it made more sense to get him to speculate on Lamoriello and Boucher...?

The ending @15:45. Brian Burke! Toronto loves you and respects ya!

People overlook that Burkie is actually American (but has since gotten his Canadian citizenship thereby making him a fellow hoser) and shows more loyalty to Canada then most natural born Canadians I know. He tried his ass off in Toronto and came up short. How many other Leaf GM's the last 52 years reside in THAT club? Many with Stanley Cups before and after coming to Toronto. Brian Burke is FAR from alone.

The whole tie-gimmick is lame af. Like, I get it--in real life--but it looks so dumb, as a 'bit'
