If Carey has played his final game with the Habs, we'll be glad to know he always gave evrything he had, never complained about the team in front of him and always blamed himself first. One of the most humble players on and off the ice. True class and one hell of a talent.

I was still more impressed with Price’s run this year than Vasilevskiy’s and that’s not a knock on Vasy. I just think the amount of crazy saves Price had to make and amount of games he straight up stole really made me realize how good he is.

This guy is so good he gets a top 10 to himself and it's all highlights from ONLY 20 odd games. All beauties.

I am a huge Leaf fan and Carey Price fan, I just hate the Habs. With that said, this guy may not have won a cup but he was the reason the Habs made it to the finals and IMO deserves the MVP over any Tampa player

Damn, that was an Epic Goaltender Playoff run for the ages. Without a doubt, he led that team to the Finals which had no real business being there. His performance should be taught to all young upcoming goaltenders.

Man it’s gonna hurt if Seattle takes him... One hell of a gamble by Marc Bergevin. At least Price would be close to home, but he’s been the face of our franchise for so long and he was spectacular in this year’s playoffs, we made it to the Stanley Cup final mostly because of him.

I paused the video. I ve been a Habs fan since 1983, I saw Guy Lafleur, Robinson, Chelios, Gainey, Naslund, Roy, and then there was Price...None of the guys I mentionned have been as criticized as Carey. Everybody knows Carey is a great person, a generous human being and loving husband. I am very thorn between him getting the chance to win the cup in Seattle, because he deserves it so much ! But at the same time, I will be gutted to see our franchise player leave if he indeed does leave. But make no mistake no other current NHLer, except for Shea Weber maybe - if he was to ever come back - deserves more a cup than Carey. He has played on such mediocre teams, no offense, no PMD, bad PP, and bad coaches (Michel Therrien, Carbonneau) it is a situation à la Raymond Bourque. Yes he earns a big salary but he WON a Calder cup, a WJC, a GOLD medal, a Vezina Trophy, but he has been bashed from disloyal fans even before he started playing for the Habs in 2007. So now, go my son, go win a cup in Seattle, and boy I ll miss you Carey...I will miss you...love from Montréal xxxx

The NHL talked to Montreal and the only reason that they allowed Montreal to do this is because price wanted it himself

Why have they not put a team together to get that man a cup. I understand thinking ahead and getting the newest kids that will one day be great but they need to think about now and get that man a cup. It's Patrick Roy all over again. I understand Carey wanting to stick with the team but one day he needs to think about himself and go to a team that is gonna put the players in front of him that matches his skill level and get a cup.
