Magic puck theory: The puck hits the pad and rebounds to the left away from the goal. Then the puck stops " In mid-air mind you" turns around and goes under the pad of the goalie and in the net.

When you got Florida announcers saying it was indeed the right call, that should say everything, but I mean the replay is pretty clear, not so much the double tap of the actual stick, but more so the puck bouncing back onto his stick, once it bounced off the goalies pad and back into his stick, the play is dead

anyone who thinks it wasn't a double tap go to 6:03 and play it at 0.25 Speed you can clearly see the Goalie got the puck with his pad and it was heading out of the net only to hit the Player's stick and go back in, it was a double tap

Literally, and tried still to be fancy. Completely whiffed on the puck. 😅 difference this generation. Used to lose teeth, cut, broken/ dislocated nose or shoulder... pop it back in or get stitiched and go play like nothing happened or harder.
