Marchand just doesn’t care that much, as in you don’t really have to apologize, he understands it’s all apart of the game. The only time he or others in his position would be angry is if the aggression happened off ice. Anger and hate is apart of the game, it makes you fight for the win, Marchand gets that.

Although I’m disappointed that we lost, I give huge props to the Panthers. They were the better team this series. Good luck against the Rangers! Will definitely look forward to watching it.

Probably something to the effect of “I’ve got all the respect in the world for you. Just playing some hard nosed, old time hockey. You know how it is.” Marchand probably said “don’t change a single thing about your game.” Those 2 play EXTREMELY effective hockey that translates 10 fold when playoffs come around.

As a big Bruins fan myself, it’s a painful loss, that’ll hurt for a while, especially two years in a row, but a huge congrats to Florida on a really hard fought series. They never slowed down, and clearly proved they have what it takes to win. Looking forward to watching the rest of the playoffs. Until next year!

B's fan here too. Yeah it's a bitter pill to swallow... losing twice in a row to the cats, but there's simply no denying the skill that's on that team... playoff wise especially. They were built for the playoffs, and honestly, given our losses at the start of the season (bergy, krejci, hall, bertuzzi, etc...) this bruins club overachieved. I'll happily take two W's against that powerhouse. Looking forward to our future. Congrats cats.

Lets be completely real here, the harsh reality is, regardless who won the first round, both the Leafs and Bruins didn't stand a chance against this team either way. Florida is just way too good for both of them. The Leafs would've gotten swept, and the Bruins getting completely outshot for some of the games this series really shows Floridas strength ☠️

Well back to the drawing board bruins have a lot of youth some pretty good goal tending and have made the playoffs continuously for years now.
