From Michael Jordan to Lebron James, they've all had sons that have hopes to carry on their legacy, however, expectations often don't turn into reality. And that seems to be true for most sons of basketball hall of famers, but not all...

Klay deserves a shout, his father was the number 1 pick and had a great NBA career winning 2 titles and scoring 13k points

It's amazing how Steph Curry, the son of Dell Curry, has now grown into a superstar athlete.

@@maherkamer8872I don’t remember Luka having a father playing in the NBA. Now Devin Booker’s dad may have been a good college player but never a good NBA player. I remember my high school classmate would always say Dan O’, lol.

Hey Sportsphere! Can you guys do a video on where Allonzo Trier is now? There is nothing, I mean nothing, online about him since he was in the G-League after his stint with the Knicks. That's very unusual.

This isn't really that surprising. The average height of NBA players is 6'6". Unless their mother was also freakishly tall, sons of NBA players will be shorter than their dad. It's a lot harder to be an NBA superstar at 6'2".

Coaching at Sierra Canyon must be top notch, given Bagley’s utterly undistinguished NBA career (after being taken 2nd in 2018) where his performance metrics declined in each of his seasons in the league, and now on his 3rd team, where he is a backup center to someone named Rishaun Jones. And Cassius Stanley’s “NBA career” consists of 33 games over two seasons. Which does not make him an “NBA player.” What he is as of today is a player on a 2nd division team in Israel. Hardly seems worth it to play at Sierra Canyon.

I was born in Seattle in 1973, where I grew up. Sonics and Blazers fan. Japanese-American. I know that he wasn't a legend, but Kendall Gill's son Phoenix looked pretty good. I used to have discussions with other sports fans about "Who can be your father (in the NBA), where you could still live a normal life?" (not getting mobbed for autographs, etc) We said Hersey Hawkins or Nate McMillan could be your Dad, you'd be rich, but you wouldn't have classmates hounding your for his autograph all the time.

Which is funny cuz Klay’s dad Mychel was a scoring leader during his career, with the damn Lakers. Then Klay eclipsed his dad’s entire career by being the SHOOTER he was. Record setting ass.

Didn't Rick Berry have some kids who were pretty damn good at basketball? idk. Maybe it was just my imagination 🤔. And i must've been dreaming about Manute Bol's kid playin in the league. It's funny how it's so hard to remember things from dreams. i dreamt his name was something like - Bowl of Cereal Bol? Bowl Cut Bol? Bowling Alley Bol? ...dreams are weird.
