Ronaldinho is far from cocky. He is one of the most respected players of all time literally because he is so humble. He also mentored Messi. Watching him play is one of the greatest things you'll ever get to see.

dude, Ronaldinho is so not a cocky player, he is definitely one of the most humble footbal player that ever exist. He has always been confident about football, definitely not cocky. he is so humble that it hurts, even when people ask him if he was better then another player, he always says no. as for your question you wanted to know if he was better than Messi or if Messi was better. back on the days they did play together on the same team and Ronaldinho was the star for barcelona. messi learned from Ronaldinho. messi was still a kid and playing for the reserve and when messi started playing with the big boys Ronaldinho was like his father who showed him the ropes. however, or Ronaldinho did predicted that messi would become the best players in the world on years to come. it's like Ronaldinho it's Michael Jordan and messi it's labron james. every team that Ronaldinho played he made the team champions, except for QUERETAROS which is a team from Mexico and at that time he was already retire and still help the team to the finals, in which they lost because Ronaldinho technically didn't even get to play the finals because of the coach decision. messy it's a phenomenal player now but there is no one like Ronaldinho bro this dude its a true legend. and he is actually one of the fewer players that never let Fame get into his head. he had a long and prosper football career and won everything that a football player could win. after that he decided to enjoy life and then it was messi's time to shine, simple is that. FYI, the Nike commercial with the slogan "Joga Bonito" it came up because of Ronaldinho style of play. because that's what he used to do when he played football. as for your wife and you both of you are butchering Ronaldinho's name bro. he was very entertaining with his dribbles, but better than messi ? slow down. When Ronaldinho won the best player award (ballon d ore) he said he was not the best playr on his team, he was referring to then 18 year old Messi. Amazing player but he was only good for a short time, he let his partying destroy his career. He was never as decisively consistent as messi and nowhere near the goal scorer. But by far the most entertaining player ever.

1. He wasn’t a cocky athlete. He is actually one of the most humble players. 2. Arguably he single handedly brought FC Barcelona up financially with the sales of his jerseys/merchandise over the course of his years in Spain & put FC Barcelona back on the map. 3. He was a mentor to Messi & a role model to many. 4. He revolutionized the way the game was played. No one else has been able to incorporate skill to that level in a game yet. 5. One of the few players who has literally won it all. Every trophy in football including World Cup, down to all possible individual trophies. 6. You just can’t hate this man. Living legend. Ronaldinho was one of the most humble players in the world. His skills were beyond anything I've watched in my years of watching football. Many talented players labeled him as their inspiration for playing football. He was just having fun. Definitely not cocky.

Ronaldinho wasn't cocky at all. He was a bit of a party animal, but he did everything in his career, he won the World Cup with Brazil, he won the Champions League with Barca before Messi, and he was player in the world. I feel blessed I had the chance to watch Messi, Ronaldo AND Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho is the most charismatic player and beloved player ever. His smile rivals that of Magic Johnson. While there may have been players that rival him in talent, no one seems to enjoy himself while playing like Ronaldinho! That outside the foot, inside the foot move they showed is one that he invented and is now used by so many of the top players. Imagine that he was still Barcelona's #10 when Messi came on board, and he mentored Messi! It is so sick that he and Messi were on the same team at one time! another comment. He's not the "original" Ronaldo. The "original" Ronaldo is named: "Ronaldo" from Brazil and this latter cat was out of this world. Look up "Ronaldo Brazil" to get his vids. Ronaldinho means "little Ronaldo" and was a contemporary of Brazilian Ronaldo and played on world cups together and won it all in Germany world cup

I'll put it to you this way...messi and ronaldinho where in barcelona at the same time and messi didnt stand out. The one who always stood out and outshined everyone was ronaldinho. When he left barcelona that was when messi began to stand out. What a legend, there will never be another ronaldinho. My fav player and probably the most humble futbol player that I've seen. Even in his prime he was never cocky.
