The guy who said messi isnt human was Gerard Piqué. He played with Ronaldo on Manchester United in 2004-2008 and has played on Barcelona with Messi since 2008. He is on of the best Centre-backs in the world.

Maradona is considered the grearest of all time by 50% of football fans. The other 50% thinks it's Pele. But that's what football fans have thought historically, now this generation has a player that is changing that people's opinion, and now people just don't decide either Maradona or Pele but now also Messi has got into that list. Many people say "Ronaldo is compared to Messi, but Messi is compared to Maradona and Pele", in order to explain that Ronaldo is a great player from this generation but Messi will be remembered as one of the greatest of all time, if not the greatest. So in less words, we are lucky to see Messi, cause that's like seeing Michael Jordan or Mohammad Ali in their time.

Fernando Pulido In my opinion, is impossible to compare Messi to Pelé or Maradona, because the game has changed in many ways, it's unfair to do it, it's unfair to Messi because there is always a nostalgia thing about Pelé and Maradona, but it's unfair to them because a lot of people didn't see them play (I didn't see), and obviously nowadays we have more technology what helps the game in a lot of ways. So, the three are football legends and it's better to see like that, trying to compare them isn't a necessary thing, they are 3 great players and that is it. And my opinion is equal to Cristiano Ronaldo as well, I just like to watch great players doing what they know.

Gabriel Ventura Yea I feel you. But if we talk about the fact that football has changed, we can say that it's more difficult for players to make solo goals and important individual perfomances these days. The defence in the times of Pele wasn't the same that what it is now, same with Maradona era. And Messi, in this generation, has done things that we have only seen in the 80's. But what I appreciate about Maradona, even tho his time's defence was not so organized, is that he won important cups completely by himself. He rapped the whole world in the Mexico 86' world cup, and he changed italian's football by himself and made Napoli champions, a team that was absolutely nothing before he got there. Pele is the king because he made 1284 goals in his career and won 4 world cups, but it's completely impossible to make 1000 goals in today's football. So what Messi is doing is not normal, if you pay attention to his numbers, and he skills, considering his era, you can deduce that he's not normal. He just was born with more talent than anyone. And you can tell that by watching his videos of when he was 5 years old.

Fernando Pulido I understand. But at the same time it just makes me wonder how it was going to be if Pelé played on this era. And Maradona was a genious, but he did somethings that didn't helped his career, and it is a shame. But I respect your opinion, like I respect who says that Pelé is the greatest or Maradona, or Ronaldo and etc. They are all legends and we have to enjoy it.

The guy who said that line about the best player among the humans vs Messi being superhuman is Pique. He's Shakira's baby daddy, Messi's teammate, and one of the greatest defenders of this era. The old guy from the "skills or goals" line was Diego Maradonna. One of the greatest players ever and along with Messi the two greatest Argentinian footballers ever

Zlatan and Messi played together for one season. Although it was a forgettable season for Zlatan. He had beef with the manager at the time and didn’t like his role at the club. And although Messi was in the position that was Zlatan’s, they had a good bond. When Zlatan was struggling, Messi would often look at assist him or give him penalties so he could also get his numbers. It was clear Zlatan was not the type of player Barcelona needed. But Messi is one of the few players Zlatan actually respects. And that says a lot.

He is a centre back of FC Barcelona and Spain & He's also a husband of Famous colombian pop star Shakira. The second old guy you talked about is legend, Diego Maradona. I think you heard this name quiet a few time in this video. Maradona is a compatriot of Lionel Messi; from Argentina. Pele, Maradona and Messi are in the top three players in football history.

Ant when Zlatan came to Barcelona it was tough, Messi being youngster made Zlatan look bad with how Messi scored so much to how Zlatan scores less than him, Messi does 50 to 60+ goals each season while Zlatan goes just over the 30 to 40 mark.

Last guy was Diego Maradona , a legend in football , hes like a God in Argentina ,Hes compared alot to messi because they are both Argentinian and had a slightly similar career playing with barcelona and argentina but Messis club history is better than maradona thats just a fact but back in those days too many things were different such as offside rules along with who gets to qualify , now the top 4 qualify but back then it was only the 1st in the league.

Btw, when a player that has played with Messi or Ronaldo, or against them, that going to make their opinion even more biased than anyone else, because they have to support their teammates. If u ask a Real Madrid player they most likely say Ronaldo(Juventus now). If u ask a Barcelona player they will say Messi. Some who’s played with both, like Pique, will give the answer that u just heard. It’s actually better to hear from older pundits, that have no connection to either of the players, like nationality, clubs played for, clubs managed, clubs played against, players managed, supported clubs(who they support), blood connections, family team support. U don’t want any of that. All these players have a connection to Messi, except Rooney and Ferdinand. Pique has both. Btw I’m a Barcelona fan, I DO think Messi is on top, but I agree the Ronaldo is at the same level, and can appreciate both.

i really don't understand the argument,Ronaldo is an incredible player, like pique said the best of the humans, but we should respect the fact that messi is the best in his generation and when he retires he will be officially labeld as the best to ever grace the game not from baist messi fans, Ronaldo haters or the media but something ingraved in the sport, we like it or not but it will happen, the question is not if messi is better than pele, Maradona or ronaldo but who will be better than messi in the future,who ever it will be or could be, he is definitely not born yet.
