I have been watching your reviews since I purchased my pse drive 3b and you honestly have the best archery reviews. Keep up the good work.

I have 2 of these wise guys. Not the Boa strap. I use the buckle as its the same adjustment every time aiding in repeatability. It the Boa (like the snake).

Several excellent shooters in my Archery Club use this release and highly recommend it. I adjusted the trigger pull to heavier and have been shooting great with this release. The super light “hair” trigger setting promoted “punching”. The Wise Guy release also is solid and heavy which makes drawing the Bow easier than with a flimsy release, especially with a heavy draw weight. This is one of the things I like about the Release. The BOA wrist strap is awesome. My Anchor Point is the same every time. The leather wristband with the buckle strap stretches so the anchor point varies. Get the BOA. As a Hunter or 3D shooter, get this release, you’ll love it!

If you have experience with it. How hard is it to change to left handed configuration. Not "ambidextrous" stuff is hardly ambidextrous at all and I am looking for a new release. Thank you in the meantime.

I shoot with one of these, love it. Super light trigger, I actually don't use it on its lightest setting, that's the first release aid I can say that about.

Adjust the trigger system. Had my original buckle for 5 years got a new BOA and its alot more secure but wish it was adjustable the same every time. I tighten it down tight as bearable to keep it close to the same consistency. Trigger is fully adjustable. Pull up on round tab until it clicks, it completely releases. Push back down to lock it and tighten it up. Will likely have my two releases and use them both for a lifetime. Buy once cry once and know it will never need a replacement. Great videos love getting your input on so many new things

Can you adjust it for a fair bit of tension if you like a heavier trigger?
@travisalderete53863 жыл бұрын
Pistols at Dawn you can, it goes both ways. Light trigger to heavy. It really has been my favorite release, I use both my old one and new one.

@Rusty Shackleford is the strap and buckle sold separately or is it a different configuration they sell?

I have a Tru Glo with the BOA and it feels so delicate... I'd be interested to know if you get any coming back broken. The BOA cable feels so thin and the plastic winding wheel doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. It's likely just me, but I worry about it snapping and firing it through my bow... Likely all in my head.
@MyFriendsAreElectric3 жыл бұрын
@Biliary Clinton cheers for that. Didn't know it came from snowboarding so just did a bit of reading. Seems some people are experiencing snapped BOAs there... I wonder what the comparable tension in the cable is between making a boot constantly tight and absorbing bounces vs multiple reps of 60#...
@MyFriendsAreElectric3 жыл бұрын
Maybe. I'd still be interested to find out if there are reports of BOA failures in the wrist straps. Ski boots fail, you stop skiing. A wrist release fails and it'll pull itself off your wrist and fire through your bow.

@Rusty Shackleford that's what I'm thinking bud. I tried the BOA as it seemed a new thing in wristies and I hadn't shot one. I usually use a trigger and sweaty hands don't mix too well with a plain metal release 😅

The more you shoot with the Wiseguy the worse your target panic will be.

You keep calling it a B.O.A. as though it's an acronym. Does B.O.A. represent words for some feature or is it just "boa" as in it wraps around your wrist like a boa constrictor?
@TheKungFuCrocodile3 жыл бұрын
It is exactly that like the BOAconstrictor snake.
