I find chillwave on ~20 is actually quite usable on most maps and its a nice happy medium everywhere I dont have to mess with every time I switch maps. I also like running the feather filter cranked with NVGs for pretty much 0 saturation while keeping contrast good. It makes it feel more like Digital NV. Also try feather on ~60 and tritanomaly colour-blind mode on. It will leave it with a slightly blueish tinge for anyone that's more used to running white phosphor tubes in their setup and cant stand the older style green tubes. (unless you already have N-15s then it will do the opposite) Anyway, great video thanks VoX_E!!!

I never thought to tweak my postFX for NV, actually makes it so much easier to see. Everything else I really recommend people go into offline mode and tweak your settings to your own monitor. Spending 15-30 minutes going through all your options can make a huge difference for your gameplay going forward. Don't forget to calibrate your actual monitor as well. A lot of people run messed up brightness, contrast, or gamma right out of the box.

For night runs without night vision, I dont mess with post fx, just go to nvidia settings & adjust my brightness/contrast/gamma till I get a good image

My issue with the postfx is it tanks your FPS way too much for the miniscule gain you get. If you want better visibility without FPS loss just use your monitor settings to turn up contrast and gamma and saturation

im a big montreal fan, as someone who is colorblind i feel like it helps me distinguish all the shades of green in tarkov also the colorblind modes do not help me at all, if anything they make it worse

Feather is really easy on the eyes if you do a lot of night raids like I do, sometimes the green of the nvgs really tire my eyes out

post fx for NV is very very mighty, not tweaking the settings can be a serious disadvantage.

Holy crap I just realized the pnv-10t is modeled completely wrong. It gives you a binocular fov when it should be the same as the pvs14. Both have a monocular input, one just has two output of the same image. FFS BSG

I recommend night vision for night raids. They're not that expensive. The only time I won't recommend night vision is if you know the map inside and out. I don't use night vision on reserve because I know that map better than any other. I do use night vision on other maps and they help a lot

Don't use Post Fx, use your monitor settings and whatever gpu control panel you have to adjust your settings. Looks better than the game settings, and runs smoother

People should stop messing with that garbage and buy a capable monitor. 10 years ago resolution was all the jam, and now that got the attention it deserves; peole ignore the most important ingredient in anything we do. "Lighting". Why take the time (every time) you want to 'mix things up a little' when you can have a preset on your monitor that is a metaphorical 'fuck you' to anyone running night raids. LG GL27650F-B for reference. Thats what I use, and you don't stand a chance. :)

@@VoXEonYT i guess it's intended to change color grading and therfore change the atmosphere, spiking up the gamma and brightness however is a different thing for different monitors you wouldn't want a game without change brightness option but just not in that way.

@@VoXEonYT believe me when i say being op and seeing people who can't see u because they simply dont try hard it that much (which is most of the community) and who u shouldn't even be able to see them isn't by any means fun to play I've tried this for rust and it ruined the community and therefore the game, if u want to see people play day just don't ruin the fun of night,silence and ambushes i think that's why the devs added night time and nvg in the first place

Postfx is trash in all games learn to customize it game in graphics drivers. You can customize all ir games. Use post fx for night only.
