Aha...caught a goof! There are 4 differences in puzzle # 1...1. the lads hair 2. bottom length of the sail pole 3. position of the sail on the raft 4. water slurry. Right?.

The first puzzle has four differences. Not only is the sail pole longer, but it is set between a different set of logs.

@mmabagain. The "sail pole" is not longer, it's nearer, so you can see more of the pole.

The sail pole is longer, but it counts as 1 difference. Because it is placed in a different set of logs, to keep the image the same, the pole became longer. It counts as 1 difference.
