Does it play thru your car speaker without connecting the AUX? or do you need to connect the AUX to be able to hear the song playing. I have an old car so it doesn't have an AUX or BT connecter. When ever you have a chance to respond that will be awesome thank you

It is just a controller for the Spotify app. So if you can get your audio setup with your phone today then it will work.

I’d probably say yes but it feels more “cheap” than loose if that makes sense.

Most stuff now can handle multiple BT connections. I’d imagine if your phone is pretty recent then it can handle more than a connection at a time. With your car though I’m not sure if it would prioritize. The car thing is basically just a remote to your phone so if your phone starts ringing the car thing will stop the music just like it would if you had headphones or anything else in. Car thing is less of a connection itself and more of just a Spotify screen extension of the phone.

No you need your device to connect via Bluetooth it just controls Spotify your phone does everything like connecting to the car

He neglects to answer your question but as long as you have the music downloaded on your phone its should still work in out of service areas. The device is just a media controller that controls spotify on your phone so you don't have to deal with the hassle of jumping from spotify to text, to GPS etc

This is exactly what it is yes! So that is totally up to you. I love not looking down at my phone now and the voice is super responsive and helpful actually.

I just ordered mine, its exactly the reason i got it. I dont have bluetooth on my car , so i connect to my phone via aux. now i can use the car things to change music without having to pull out my phone

this is a lot safer than having to look at your phone, it also keeps your phone free for navigation and calls

Steven that’s exactly my thought. I normally clip my phone to the vent and I manage Spotify from there. If I’m using Waze I just minimize Spotify. Either way if I’m driving I’m not going to be messing with the either my phone or the Car thing. It will just add more clutter and cables. I think this would be more useful if I want to throw a party and leave the car thing next to my bluetooth speaker so people can switch songs and mess with Spotify without having to use my phone.

@@renato_ny if you have an Android you can have double windows in your phone and have Waze open and so Spotify... but I think it's still complicated if you receive a text message or something like that it's going to be clumsy I think this car thing helps you to keep Focus

Same here, I think it’s kind of pointless for me. I still need my BT transmitter connected to my phone. Nice idea but too many cords in my car.

If your car has Bluetooth you can do Bluetooth to the car. If you don’t you can get Bluetooth dongles too

Yep it sure does. I know that’s a bummer too but it is helpful that it goes along with whatever the car is doing and you don’t have to worry about turning it on and off all the time!
