Watch Jeffrey S. Garanich, Ph.D., director of the Master’s in Translational Medicine (MTM) Program, and Summer 2017 graduate Sadiq Rahman discuss the program’s goals and career opportunities. Currently the only program of its kind in New York City, the MTM teaches a diverse student population the hands-on process of developing, building, and evaluating a new medical technology. Students take advantage of world-class faculty, facilities, and partnerships to learn the key biomedical design, clinical, and business aspects of bringing a new medical technology to market. Graduates of this one-year multi-disciplinary program are well equipped to take on leading positions in clinical, industrial, and academic environments.
