Because of the SD buff, and honestly, it might be the better move now, at least to burst things down, which has always been Scyther thing. 20% attack buff is pretty nuts even more considering how naturally low the cooldown of SD is.

They're both viable. Double hit mobility is amazing but 20% attack increase on a speedster is no joke. It might come down to match ups and team composition

Sword dance attack increase is a buff to his heals n dmg from punch so wouldn’t surprise me if he’s pretty good

Idk, it's hard to judge this soon, they had a 25 k lane greninja, and ttar lane, hard to make an opinion from this match. But, we'll try ourselves. Btw I still think Double hit is going to better on scyther because of move resets and mobility.

I used sword dance Scyther alot before it got buffed its better than double it in my opinion cause you can do and it gives u dmg while giving u dmg reduction as well

@@cozmicmic That's only on the upgrade of SD and it only last for 0.3 sevonds so I doubt it's gonna save you a lot.

I love scyter. I'm so happy he's good again. He really needed those nerfs back then. But the problem is when the meta shifted they did nothing for scyther and he fell behind and could not clean up like the other speedsters

The problem with sword dance in scyther is that is usually doesnt land enough succesive hits to proc the extra attack. Though the sword dance buff is really good. The thing is, the reasons that might make you use sword dance on scyther are the same that would make you choose scizor over scyther most of the time.

Wym it does work you just got be up close it does 4 hits then you hit the pokemon twice cause of your boosted m1's then bam

@@cozmicmic but with a speedster like scyther you wanna hit and back off for cooldowns. That doesnt give you much time to trigger the extra attack consistently. Of course it could work sometimes but It lacks consistency. Also the cieling with double hit is huge with the resets.

Technically yeah the Swords Dance buff will affect Scizor but it's mainly Scyther buffs

Buffs aren't enough tbh. This game doesn't really showcase the buffs which are just the boosted auto and swords dance but you were already dominating before swords dance.
