That what I hate the most on playing online poker. With 1.2 mil chips left, calling would've put him down about mid position with remaining players, and he does it with Q8s? Guy is a luck-box. I fucking hate how Poker Strategy is completely thrown out the window with bounties/mystery bounties, yet they're the most played format most of the time. It's garbage.

I recently won a $99 mystery bounty with 266 runners and I didn’t change up my strategy that much at all. Once we were in the money I treated it like a regular bounty tournament, found the mean bounty amount, and regarded every bounty as that amount when figuring pot odds. Was my reasoning flawed? Worked out either way. 🤷🏻‍♂️

mystery bounties play like regular micro stakes PKO's, ppl just dont give a fuck about their cards, they see that sweet $0.75 on you and disregard all safety, and the deck usually rewards them for it
