I threw a 30th birthday party for myself and almost everyone flaked. I think I invited 50 ppl and I remember 11 ppl showed up. Only the true ppl. One guy and his brother showed up at 3am after the bar closed, like wtf. I'm 41 now and barely see any of those people anymore. Even the true ones. That's life. Family is constant. That's why I don't see most of them anymore-they started their own families. You start living your own life. Happy thirties btw, its great to shed the old version of you, and become the better more lived you. Life is special, thanks for sharing a peek into yours❤

I highly recommend getting a large capacity electric sprayer! It’s much easier to use, easier on your hands, and more effective. It makes it a lot easier to completely cover the entire plant. You can find one online for like 30-50 dollars. I have one and it makes pest care so much less daunting

Woman get yourself or make yourself a plant stand on wheels for that tree. I have a fish tail palm and there is no way in the world I can move that beast unless I push it. Mine is only 2 or 3 inches off the ground and its circular it is about a inch wider then the base of the plant my Dad made it for me and I painted it. Do not injure your spine trying to lug around the house Yeti in a pot. Get that kid some wheels like he's got his own mobile home it makes cleaning and pest control so less a hassle to scoot out the door. :)

Happy birthday!! I use ice packs when I have migraines, the super cold helps a lot. I turned 30 in August and I have just a couple really good friends. Most people just don’t want to put in the effort to keep relationships going.

I read that spider mites don’t like water, and don’t survive it. So hose your plant in water outside. I find it much easier to do and easier to reach every place on the plant. If I have a smaller plant that becomes infected I rinse it thoroughly under the shower and it does the trick each time. I was super surprised to see they didn’t return either!

Happy birthday girl!!❤ In my experience, if you don't have flaky friends, you're either incredibly lucky - or the flaky one yourself😅 I stopped organising stuff for my friend groups because I got tired of all the no-shows or last minute cancellations. Now I partake if someone else is organising, or I just meet people one on one instead of group hangs. It took years of getting to terms with it but now I'm in my mid-thirties and accumulated enough chill😂

I'm sorry about the migraine on your birthday but glad you felt better enough to go climbing. I get migraines too. Smells are a big trigger for me but also as I've gotten older I've had to watch my liquid intake. If I don't drink enough water, it can trigger a really bad migraine the next day. Have you heard of TheraIce? My mother got me one for Christmas and it really helps. It's a compression cap that you can freeze and it feels amazing when I have a migraine. They can also be microwaved for heat therapy. And it covers your eyes. All around the best help I've found so far. Anyway sorry for the ramble. Happy birthday. Happy Birthday! I am happy that your headache allowed to have a good time. I suffer from migraines also! I find if I drink a lot of cold water it helps so much. I would throw up from them like you, but now that I am older that doesn’t happen anymore. I can’t have nuts because they have something in them that triggers migraines, I also get them from certain smells and if I get over heated. Let us know how the plant is doing

I love how your bathrooms are so bright. My bathrooms are so dark and closed with poor ventilation and only artificial lighting aka no place for plants... We have almost same structure of houses(apartments) here in south Korea so I always admire your house and backyard...!!

One of my nephews who lives in Sandy Utah used to climb at that place and in some competitions but he quit for some reason. I did go see him climb there on a trip tp Utah.
