Yep, using those nurser tanks for the local co-op after another cowboy used it can prove interesting sometimes. Thanks for the ride along. Take care.

Thanks for sharing the video Russ. Nice looking stand of wheat. It'll take off now. Got to get mine top dressed and the fertilizer on my hay ground. Take care.

Man yeah, looks like the rogator is dialed in!! I really enjoy the spraying videos, especially when y'all tell what and how much you are spraying😁😉 Thats bad no one would tell them about that engine mount, but just keep coming back to borrow it. 😢 I liked seeing the tips up close for 28, and the overview of the gps system!! Thank you Russ for bringing us along, look fwd to seeing whats next!! 😁😁👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🌽🌽🌾🌾

I almost mounted the GoPro closer to boom to show the streaming affect better. Nitrogen is corrosive and I didn’t want to ruin a camera

@@Thomasfarmstn Well I liked the up close of those tips, thank you !! I pelted mine yesterday with dry , so it wasn't as bad 🤣🤣

That's a slick looking sprayer. What is the wingspan of the arms? All the computer measuring is cool! It's nice to see all the green on your farm. It'll be another month before it's green up here. Cheers Russ!

Rich we are in full swing Spring here. Been getting rain so field work has came to a halt for now. This one is only 80’ wide. My old one is 90’.

I thought at first you were using your own pump on that trailer since it was so loose. But overall that's pretty good. The thing ran and no flat tires. I'd call that a win.
@Thomasfarmstn4 ай бұрын
Sad part is it’s a new pump. When I went back to get a refill I showed the man the pump. He said send it.

I used quelex for the first time about a week ago. It seems like it is a little better on hen bit and chickweed. We have been seeing that weed around here I looked it up but don't recall the name.
@Thomasfarmstn4 ай бұрын
I’ve always called it buttercups. One day I’ll ask the official name.

What do you run for ground speed and do you fill your tank completely full? The reason why I'm asking is I've researched these sprayers are short on hydro power up hills. Does it seem like it's short on power?
@Thomasfarmstn3 ай бұрын
8-10mph and no I fill up to 1200 gallons. It holds 1600. Yes a little weak on hill.
@andyk57083 ай бұрын
I'm thinking about buying one and you are about the only person that has a video of the 1254 operating the rest are for sale... Target spray mph is 11-12 do you think it can do it. I'm a little worried if it's got enough torque.
@andyk57083 ай бұрын
8 to 10 mph is fine with me I just hope it works.

How you like the RoGator?
@Thomasfarmstn4 ай бұрын
I didn’t like it last year and was trying to trade both off on a newer sprayer. But I got all the bugs worked out and love it now.
@woodyhinson65274 ай бұрын
I started out with an Eagle 8500 Wilmar. Good thing about it was most of the parts for it I could get aftermarket like the coils and valves were made by hydro force and I could get that stuff for 1/4 the cost of the same parts from Agco! Body parts like level valves and air-bags were the same as big trucks. Sold it and went with a 4730 Deere love it but you buy everything but spray nozzles from the dealer! I grew up on IH tractors! Best tractor we ever had was a 7220 CIH the green paint doesn’t mean it’s better!
