You’re right, the bigger the telehandler the more damage 😉 I drove the tracked version of that jcb and found it more stable. Looks awesome too 😎. Don’t want fert in your pants 😂

We use small 50kg bags of fertiliser😅. Very handy for paddocks spreading 50kgs to the acre. We use big bags at the start of the year when spreading the whole farm. Usually bang them on the ground first to break up lumps. Keep up the good work.

Yo Justin!!! Deffo the Teagle is the dogs for sure!!! Just keep her hosed down after use under the splash plates where the dust gathers and give a regular shot of penetrating spray over the area too to prevent rusting!!! Not as complicated or fortunately as expensive as the Lely or Rauch or the Amazone with sectional controls etc but in saying that, the one thing I would recommend soooo friggin highly is a form of GPS inside the cab of the T6 if she is the only one that spreads your artificial on the farm. I was amased when told just how much money could be saved in both fertiliser and diesel during just one season believe it or not!!!!! They actually pay for themselves in the long run fella!!!! Must be a Sunday vid as Adam is OFF AGAIN!!!! (sorry Adam I could not resist bud) Lmfao!! Btw Justin and all...... the bloody things spread fertiliser so they are called FERTILISER SPREADERS!!!! Till sower wtffffff, that's a Lytham saying i'm sure lol!!

Whenever we go for a cheaper option off fert for older lays we usually give the bag a little love tap as we call it which is just pick boom up quick then down onto the ground sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t

Yes I forgot to add that to the vid but on the small telehandler the hydraulics are too slow

I really fancy having one of those JCB Teletrucks/Skids on the farm, much more practical, and if you haven't had a grain of fertiliser in your eye your not a proper farmer :-)......... and that properly hurts
@claetuswoodroofe41644 жыл бұрын
Is your land very fertile or are you using chicken muck or sludge cos we won’t get a crop worth harvesting unless we use 120 units of N for first cut and 80 units for second slurry and 2 tons of lime every 3rd year and your crops look good
@jasondavies48874 жыл бұрын
We bought Pyramid fertiliser this year from Mole Valley they were by far better on price. We tend to go for 20/10/10 or close to that, for second cut we normally go for what they call after cut, can't remember the units in that. We spread what my dad would call wheel to wheel, we will spread that the fert hits the tyre marks of the pass before, I know it takes longer but it just ensures that we cover the whole feild consistently. We see when people try spreading the whole width of the spinner in one pass they have light green stripes in their feilds where they have missed.

Fertiliser is soooo God damn expensive,, too expensive in fact.. I've always thought that farmers are ment to be ECO FRIENDLY... Fertiliser is far from ECO friendly,, We only use 100cwt per acre,, just to boost the grass,,, we rely on bedding muck to really grow the grass, and a little slurry,,, Great video.
@roberthiggins64014 жыл бұрын
Until watching Tom Pemberton, I'd never heard the term till or silo in the context Tom used it but knew what he meant. The old Vicon, I call a wag tail or ossilating, then there's the disc spreader or spinner. Were those lumps hard as the agitator should have broken them up to an extent. Can't remember what else you asked now. Keep well all.
