Hay is delightful, and dairy manure isn't too rank, but I Know we stink up the neighborhood when we spread manure.

I want to start bagging corn; I have a sewing machine, now I just need to get the dryer working, and maybe a grain cleaner. I already have a willing wholesale account inline. This year we are almost signed up for a nongmo beans contract, that was on the list. I am dying for more ear corn storage, but I really should be looking at hay storage, which I would build tall enough to dump a New Holland stacker wagon.

Mostly, we bed with wood chips and all too often in the summer, the manure is very wet. We'll just be careful with the scoops from around the hay feeders.

The real question is will we finish before spring....

Why would I need heat when I am wearing all those layers? Heat comes off the transmission, and being out of the wind is very delightful.

I have spread manure that was in big, frozen slabs and it exited the spreader without issue, except it was in a big chunk.

Well, it's a straight six with a turbo and no muffler. But no bent frames here.

Boehm Farm lol its different in every province but here we are not allowed to apply manure or synthetic fert between nov 10 and april 10. Sometimes if its an open fall they extend the november date for another week
