They could have been produced too fast, that's true. I know when I was making my rolling pin I had to find a branch outside that was old enough. The greener wood just cracks too much. I love HomeGoods/HomeSense kitchen stuff. I have a few wooden things from them that I really enjoy. One though does have a slight crack but I loved the shape so much and it hangs on pegboard like art. I use it for fruits and non-sticky things. Very fun store. Very fun. I love the stripes. I was looking at a few of them awhile back to make into curtains and pillow cases. Such a great store, I can walk-through and get lots of good ideas! Cheers!
