It's been awful shopping as a busty woman in this era. Nothing in stores are made to fit a woman with 36 inch bust line and a 28in waist. Plus I'm 5'6, so basically anything in style right now just makes me look frumpy. Where is the waist emphasis???!! I don't want to have to dress like a 50s housewife to get any sort of flattering silhouette.

@@theveryfirstlostgirl I've seen satin joggers with cargo pockets, and I'm beginning to see them in wide leg silhouettes too. another really interesting video- as a romantic i'm not so into the lingerie trend, altho i do love bridgerton- but you do mention Ted Baker as a brand for gamines or dramatics- and I find their stuff rly good for my curvy/busty romantic self too. The preppier/gamine dresses tend to have good stretch and support for the curves while also being flattering. alice and olivia is another brand- they do the slinkier, silkier lingerie/90s style slip dresses rly well and i find those also work w/ curves w/o looking like outright underwear

Anything that goes beyond the basic descriptions and shows us how to put theory into practice ❤ I would love to hear your opinion on eyewear, especially sunglasses. Most advice is "square face = round glasses, round face = square glasses" and not very useful… there has to be more to it because it is so difficult to find something flattering!

I've been thinking about this too, I'm not sure if she's TR, but Maddy from Euphoria's style would suit a TR, form fitting, matching sets, jewels, luxurious fabrics and trims, ornate details, a mix of rounded and sharp shapes. @hannahmacleod3586
@hannahmacleod3586 Жыл бұрын
@@kristens7662 I thought I was a particularly curve dominant Gamine - I don't have a stereotypical TR face, but now I'm thinking maybe I'm a TR with a Gamine-ish face. I would say for me, it's cropped everything, sweatshirts, hoodies, polo shirts, leggings, jeans, trousers. I've never found sweatpants that didn't look too heavy and baggy on me, but I've got sweat-shorts and can do a skirt in sweatshirt material, or a denim skirt or shorts. I very easily look like I'm drowning in clothes, or like I'm much heavier than I am, so things like bodysuits are great, showing skin helps too, scoop necks, shell tops, rolling sleeves up, wearing jewellery with everything, even if it's super casual...

Yeees! Also flamboyant natural is a completely different vibe! As a soft natural, I can absolutely not pull of fn lines! The "aura" is similar, but the lines are not. Also, why are all the natural recommendations only the ugly sh!t? 🙄 I don't want to wear cargo because it makes me look like my fat 10 year old self again :,D it is not flattering, and most natural recommendations do not consider the softness or curve. Really makes you feel like the "ugly type". Then again, check how many of the beauty and sexy female icons are fellow sn! They for sure don't dress in potato sacks 🤣

Honestly then it about urban outfitters bustiers is so true and SUCH a problem like omg I just turned 20 and going out they’re all anyone wears and I love them so much but there’s no chance I can wear them, no chance most women could wear them since the cup sizes are minuscule it’s so upsetting and I’m not as hurt by it now but since I was 13-14 (when i got my boobs lol) I’ve had really bad body issues feeling a lot bigger than I was since when I would try to dress how it was trendy to I would look like a potato with zero waist. It’s funny because lots of the time girls tell me how lucky I am to have ‘big boobs’ yet I’ve always been so jealous of smaller boobs since they can wear all the trends, urban outfitters is completely catered to them, and they can wear the exact same thing as me but I’ll get shamed and sexualised just because my body looks different and certain parts of me are more pronounced. For a while I tried really hard to lose weight so that my boobs would get smaller and was extremely underweight yet my boobs were the same, whereas now I know that that’s just how my body and weight distribution is, back then I was just like well I must need to lose more and work harder. Sorry for the rant but it really gets to me, can’t tell u the amount of times I’ve been shopping with friends and we’re all trying things on and nothing will fit me right, crying in the changing rooms sucks. And don’t even get me started on Victoria secret a literal lingerie store that doesn’t have a range of sizes? As a teenager not being able to shop in the ‘trendy’ shops just because they don’t fit you right was the worst

Not a lot of these trends would work for Classic, I did give an example for most of what a Classic could do with it. However, the past ten years has been very minimal and simple silhouettes so there is a lot out there

I'm an FG millennial who wore grunge lines in the 2000s. It always suited me and looked timeless on me.

Please, don't forget the dramatic-classic type! 🙏 Although they are on the classic family, I feel that much of the classic súper symmetric and simple characteristics doesn't fit for them!

Classic body type dressing sounds always so boring, I like elements of each of these trends and I always think they won't work for me, according to the analysis :(

Also there is a lot of "better for yin types" "better for yang types. But I don't understand which of the trends works for the middle/classic type, or how to use elements of the trends to honor the balance

Im TR and i think peplum looks awful. Peplum can create imbalance and make your torso look shorter. I think peplum is best for women with less curves , a more straighter and figure . Even better for someone with wider shoulders and narrower hips ,the peplum woukd create balance
