3 ай бұрынSpreading mineral fertilizer on sown grass fields and slurry on permanent meadows. We also found another sinkhole just big enough for slurry tanker wheel. These holes are caused by water flowing underground and in many cases you can't see anything on surface.

Farmer's POV (Point of View) is a channel where I share videos of different chores that are going on on our small family farm in Slovenia. We have 60 heads of cattle, mainly simmetal breed and we milk about 35 of them. We farm in a fairly hilly area so our equipment is relatively small. Currently we own 4 tractors: Fiat DT55-56, New Holland TN70DA, Deutz Fahr Agroplus 85 and John Deere 5085M. We work around 20 hectares of mainly grass fields and about 2,5 hectares for silage corn. We also have 7 hectares of forest.

That sinkhole looks scary. It'll be interesting to see how wet it is here after a VERY wet autumn and a snowy winter. We had quite a bit of tillage left over from last year.

Awesome video Gasper you're new grass is after doing well you should get a great crop off it this year That's no the first sinkhole You'v found i think it was the silage wagon the last time hope you hadn't too much damage It was so nice to see you're getting fertilizer out theirs not any being spread here it's just relentless rain it's being so long since we got a full week of dry weather( probably last summer 😂 Really enjoyed the video as always looking forward to the next one Best wishes from Ireland 🇨🇮

Thank you! Yes the grass started well, we've had mild winter overall. Yep, you're right, we've done this with silage wagon already 😅 luckily no damage at all 🙂 oh thats unfortunate, rain after rain 😬🙄 thank you, greetings to Ireland 🙂

OMG, seeing the thumbnail I thought the Joskin was just stuck in the mud. That sinkhole looks scary! I'm glad it was just a little jumpscare and nothing bad happened. Be careful around those! Thanks for uploading, take care!

@@farmerspov4709 of course you don't know, or you wouldn't fall on them! I meant for you to be careful around when rescuing the equipment, because putting more weight near the sinkhole may lead to a bigger colapse, just that 😅 but yes, your analogy was perfect

Yes but more from excessive rain and abundance of water.

Do you have to leave the second valve in float for a reason on the slurry spreader? Not used to dairy farming

No reason really, I leave it in float so I know I closed the discharge.

Well we don't have enough cows to justify a robot, at least as long as there is at least one person on the farm that can do the milking.
