I love the way you style your finds! I found a $4.00 "vase" at an estate sale a month ago. When I was checking it for flaws I noticed the paint chipping at the bottom. That's when I realized that it was a 3 gallon crock. When I went to check out the clerk said that she couldn't believe someone painted over it validating that it was a crock. I was able to peel big portions of the paint off and let it soak in water over night. With a little elbow grease I was able to get all the paint off leaving the high gloss finish in tack. It is in pristine condition. So if you get tired of your painted vase, you can peel it to see what it looks like. It can always be painted again.

I loved antiquing, loved everything, but architectural pieces was my favorite, but I would need to start hanging things from my ceiling, so I just look now.

Ahhh I could spend days in a place like this!! I always look for anything & everything old that catcher my eye. If Its Antique, primitive, vintage and i like it then that's what I'm after. There's A few things i collect more of like art & ornate frames and some other things. I've found some great art pieces & frames recently and a beautiful vintage crystal lamp. Hi, Nicole! I don’t antique very often, but when I do I look for Pyrex, thermoses, dough bowls and baskets! Your baby is adorable!!💙 I think you said a while back you would show us your boys’ rooms. I’d really like to see those. Wrap the bottom of your candlesticks in tinfoil and they will stay up right in your holders. I bought those same cosmos last year and again this year at Hobby lobby, they look so real then I took a vase from Goodwill and did the baking soda technique on it and added the cosmos. So pretty for Spring in a corner of my kitchen!😊
