I found your beaver trapping videos a couple months ago while trying to learn what I could while studying to get my license. I finally got my MA trapping license with only three weeks left in the season and we can live trap with cages only. That said, I still learned a ton from you and I thank you for that. I ended up pulling five "big" beaver from a pond and am going to try my hand at tanning the hides. I hope you are doing well and I wish you good luck in all you do.

All your H stands put an S hook up at the top squeeze one in tight on one side leave the other end open and you just hook them right in that's how I do it works great for me no need to use wire after that

You guys must still be really cold up your way. You did a skinning video that really helped. We used to sell our beavers in the carcass. Now I skin every one and then save the meat to make coyote bait which I sell along with the castor. Have to do different things with the low fur prices.

Awesome videos! I'm wondering what your personal favorite foothold for beaver is? MB-750, Bridger #5, NO BS Beaver Extreme? Do you prefer offset or regular jaws? 2 coil vs 4 coil? Laminated?

Blind sets or I might try a food based lure in a set. Or just a single fresh red willow branch shoved into the shoreline without lure

This video is totally wrong. What has the beaver done to you? Can't you just leave us alone. We are just trying to make a living like you. I disapprove of this video and shame on you Scott. On a serious note. I know that beaver family in your neck of the woods and they have been giving some of us other Canadian beavers a bad rap. It has destroyed everyone's property. My job is to make sure you don't do that. If you wanna just email your beaver friends and tell them to leave the lake today they won't have to worry about getting caught 😁

@@330Maniac I will definitely be contacting them and bringing them up to the big beaver in charge. Totally unacceptable and I will apologize for my beaver relatives. Sometimes they can be a real pain in the tail. You should see how they act at reunions.
