If your washer has a timer, load it the night before. Set the timer to start washing an hour or so before you wake up. When you wake up, clothes are clean and ready to go into the dryer! This has been a great time saver for us.

PS. The doors of your fireplace will clean easily between deep cleans if you dampen some kitchen towel, pat it in the ash and use that to wipe the windows. The moisture + ash make a scrubby paste and helps to clean the windows of soot. I learned this method a few years ago and it has really helped to keep my fire windows clean between deepcleans.

I once accidentally washed my little daughter’s Rosie rabbit bedtime toy. It was the only thing she would sleep with and was ‘surface clean only’. There she was soaking wet and staring at me through the washer door with the bed sheets. That night, expecting tears, I tried to explain that Rosie was sad and wet and hanging dripping on the washing line, but somehow our cat Katy knew what had happened and snuggled next to my daughter when she went to bed. No tears, just my daughter telling Katy a story and lots of purring.

Morning! Just wanted to pop in to say hello! My daughter and her friend are playing a double cello concerto with an orchestra tomorrow, and today is the dress rehearsal. I am currently trying to figure out how to fit 4 people, 2 cellos, my violin, and a harpsichord into 2 Priuses. 😂 We have transported the harpsichord before. It takes one car for the body and one for the legs. But we haven’t added 2 cellos and 4 people to the mix. Tetris! I hope you and family are doing well! I downloaded your app and am excited to see what you’ll do with it. ❤❤❤

🤣I so relate to you finding that HUGE bolt in the washer after it ran a load! My husband is an artist and farmer and DIY'er so I constantly find interesting things in the washer even after I checked. He sometimes does his own laundry ( bless his heart)and that's when it usually happens but sometimes even I miss some things! No guilt just gratitude nothing really bad happened! Worst thing I ever washed was a crayon...but it didn't get truly tragic until I found it in the drier...allover our clothes.

Love your videos!! We live in FL on the coast and one time I put our clothes (including husbands) in washer and dryer without checking pockets. (When he fishes at ocean from shore he would stick shrimp in his pockets so he wouldn't have to come all the way up to his pail.) The smell was awful. Won't tell you how many times I had to rewash them and clean out my dryer!! Caught a lot of whiting though for a fish fry. 🐱

Hi Noemi. Once I forgot to check the pockets and washed dark blue and black clothes together and there was a piece of paper inside. When the machine was done I got the chothes full of little pieces of paper everywhere. I had a lot of work to remove. And it happened not just once.😅😅 Have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for sharing. Ants and stink bugs are first to sneak to our house in early spring. I flush them and wave goodbye, saying, "short season, huh?" And I agree about checking pockets. If I forget, my husband leaves tissues and the whole load of laundry has tiny pieces of white tissue! GRR! I just love your videos!

So enjoyed this video! I finally bit the bullet and bought the Zwilling Fresh and Save kit for our Christmas gift to ourselves (the big set, not the starter kit, I am a go big or go home type); my husband asked me after using the kit the first 2 weeks “why didn’t we get this sooner?”- he loves it as we are big FoodSaver users and it definitely keeps food so much longer than wrapping in beeswax, wax paper or plastic/silicone bags. I have taken so many things you do in your home and have incorporated in ours, even being a homemaker for 41 years, I always try to learn new and more efficient ways of keeping our home “homey”.

Good morning! Love your ideas! I use vinegar in the toilet tp remove hard water stains. Just let it sit 15 minutes. I found a pumice stone scratches the toilet and then more builds up in the scratches.

Tip: Marie kondo folding helps a lot. And putting them standing on the drawer helps to easily see what shirt they are picking before pulling them out.

So relaxing to watch and it reminds me of jobs I need to do. For the windowsills and those little nasty corners, I have found the steamcleaner the best. I have a handheld kärcher steamcleaner and it is the best. It just uses steam, so just water. It’s also great for the bathroom or use it with the attachment for floors

The worst thing I washed was lip balm . I didn't notice and put my scrub uniforms in the dryer and nothing could get out the stains . I had to buy all new work clothes . I always look forward to scandish home on Saturdays . Your dress looks so pretty Noemi ❤

In 1973 or 1974 my grandpa gave my mom a beautiful mint green blouse for Christmas. When she pulled it out of the washer there was red spots all over it. My little brother left a red crayon in his pants pocket. My mom was so disappointed she didn't notice and was never able to wear that blouse again.

It is still very cold here in England too but all the daffodils and bluebells are out. I love spring time, it's my favourite season. Worse thing I have ever washed are my eye glasses 😅.... Great video as always x

Love all your videos Noemi! So much motivation. The best way I found to get rid of ants is putting cornmeal down for a few days. Ants can’t digest cornmeal. It’s so much safer then pesticides.

I washed a pocket full of crayons. When my kids were little. The dryer was such a mess. I scraped and washed and still had spots of wax colors on laundry for awhile. So i washed a load of old towels and just kept putting them in the dryer for hours till it all got absorbed.
