Hello everyone! Today we are decorating my dining room for spring with layers, textures, and a mix of old, new, and thrifted home décor items. I think it turned out warm and inviting while still staying light and airy. All with that special curated look that comes with patience for collecting items that you absolutely love. I hope you enjoy what I’ve done and that you get a lot of new decorating inspiration and ideas for this new season. I know that I really do love sharing my home with you and appreciate you being here to watch.
I hope you are all doing well! I missed you while I was on vacation with my family over spring break. I am back and trying to get on schedule again but honestly it has been a struggle as I am working on several big projects around my home. I shared that my oldest son got married and moved out in January leaving his room a clean slate to reinvent into anything we wanted. It needs new paint from the ceiling to the trim and everything in between. Not just the room but the two closets as well. I also bought a one-hundred-inch-long dresser from Facebook Marketplace back in December and really, really need to get it refinished and moved out of my garage, into my son’s old room. All fun and exciting things but time-consuming tasks. And never fear, I am recording it all to share in a makeover video. With that being said, I am going to try to stay on my regular upload schedule, answer comments and be here for all of you with awesome uploads but bear with me if it gets a little chaotic over the upcoming weeks. Wish me luck because I’m not getting any younger and am feeling every bit of the bending, climbing ladders, and makeover work. Haha!

Everything looks so beautiful! The basket with florals and bunny above the China cabinet is perfect and works because it is large enough to give impact and draw the eyes upward. The needlepoint piece is lovely. Your “bulb” tutorial and the arrangement, the blue and white bunny dish, the lamp, use of mixed metals and placement of items……..you are such an inspiration at decorating! They really cozy up a space making it feel lived in and inviting in my opinion. I keep them dust free with a can of air or just rinse them off in the shower and air dry. 🥰

Well Done…not sure if you own your home or rent. But I am an avid DYI er and I could see your walls done with paint and a glaze and rags. It makes it look like stone and would give your walls an old world feel. ❤
