The animal print popularity is caused by the resurgence of the mob wife aesthetic and I'm here for it. I'm Nigerian so prints for us never really goes away ❤

My spring 2024 obsessions are pointed toe shoes, wide leg jeans, neutral colors, gold jewelry, and my Dooney and Bourke equestrian-look handbags. My personal statement is classic quality clothing and accessories. Not interested in flash trends! Fads come and go but the classics continue to look great.

The biggest trend is wearing what you like and what suits you. In general I don't like wearing stuff everyone else is wearing, pick your favorites and make it personal.

Thanks for this excellent video. I liked all of the trends and I'll wear each one depending on the weather and where I'm going that day. I'm glad I saved some favorite pieces from years ago because they are back in fashion! Cropped tweed blazers, polka dot dresses, leather pumps with ankle straps, espadrilles, leather belts, cropped cardigans. I did buy some looser fit jeans and wide leg pants to mix and match.

I always get excited when you're videos pop up! I thought it was interesting when you said dressing for the female gaze rather than the male gaze. In my experience I find the opposite - that men these days tend to prefer more modesty in women (less makeup, chic demure clothing, etc). The men I talk to also say they find plastic surgery unattractive. I think in a world where everything is now so accessible & over exposed, men are starting to appreciate & see more value in modesty ❤

Ppl always got it wrong. Quite lux is all about cut, shape, waist, colours, ellegance. But you can tell from those pieces they are expensive… that’s why is quite, no logos but you can wear chanel bag or prada sunglass whatever. It’s not new… this “trend” was here since 80s-90s just evolving overtime. It’s very funny how fast fashion made it as a come back LOL these type of pieces were always available if you go up into mid range brands

I think people like the look, but "old money" refers to the class of people who made their money via enslaved people/continue to make their money exploiting poor/Black/PoC. You can hear hundreds of Black influencers and others explain if you'd like to hear it from them. I do love the look of expensive natural fiber fabrics and no logos! Loved your fashion picks
