Greg meets up with a friend on Vancouver Island and shows him around, exploring the rainforest bush and fishing the ocean waters around the island.
Greg is a self-taught survivalist from Canal Flats, British Colombia, who, since he was a boy, has read nearly every book on the topic. When he is not out in the wilderness, he is a professional dry-waller. He started his first bow drill fire when he was thirteen and spent the next forty years learning bushcraft and studying plants and edibles. He has even developed some of his own survival techniques and is a skilled hunter with both a bow and a slingshot.

Cut Brussel sprouts in half. Fry bacon. Save some grease. Fry onion and garlic..add Brussels and some broth. Steam. Then fry till caramelized with some butter and spices... add maple syrup and some balsamic vinegar. Greg. You're gunna ❤ ❤ it

At first i thought to myself. "Greg?" and then it dawned on me. You have such a huge impact on my life and my relationship. I lost my dad around the same time i discovered your channel. Your videos helped me more than I could ever thank you for. Seeing your wholesome smile and meticulous care put into each video, and seeing the way you shape your journey. I love seeing videos showcasing the amazing life anyone can have on Vancouver Island. I grew up on the island, and while I am currently living in Calgary, The Island will always be my home...the prawns and crabs literally anyone can catch in the morning and be eating it for dinner....I've never gone hungry there.

Great video! Love those Appalachians and their beautiful accents! Your dinner had my mouth watering. YUM! North Carolina would be a wonderful adventure, but moreseo the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, the Porcupine Mountains and Lake of the Clouds area. My favorite wilderness location.

Here I am with the help of solutions Greg. I do believe a gear checklist and some tethers are in order. Sorry to hear about the loss. At least you got the life experience. Very nice spot, rugged hike into a beautiful spot. and yes Greg, more and more homeless people now.
